Brawling Armor Property / Furious Weapon Property

Rules Questions

If I am wearing armor with the Brawling Armor Property, and have an Amulet of Mighty fists with the Furious Weapon Property, when I rage and make an unarmed attack, will I have a +4 bonus on the weapon, allowing me to overcome damage reduction like adamantine?

If I add +1 to it, does it overcome alignment based DR?

Brawling does not increase the enhancement bonus of your weapon, it only gives you an untyped bonus of +2 to attack and damage rolls.

EDIT: Adding reference
Special Armor Abilities - Brawling

It also says that the weapon counts as magic for overcoming DR.

Yep. Brawling just grants you an untyped bonus and makes your attacks magical.

Can one get a +9 weapon then? (5 enhancement bonus, 2 untyped bonus and 2 from furious)

As the others stated, it isn't really a +9 weapon. It is a +7 enhancement bonus with an additional +2 to to-hit and damage.

You can get an +9 enhancement bonus with a +5 Furious, Bane weapon, and effectively +11 to to-hit and damage with the Brawling armor on top.

Except brawling dosent work with weapons. Or is there a trick i dont know?

Correct.

The latter example was assuming an +5 furious, bane Amulet of Mighty Fist, but that got lost in copy paste haste.

But amulet cannot get more than +5 total can it? So a furious bane amulet is max+3 if i have it rigth.

Grand Lodge

but if you found a bracer of mighty fist, you could have that. Say your amulet of might fists is +5, then you can have a bracer(or whatever) of mighty fists with the furious and bane on it.

It will cost an arm and a leg but from my understanding it would work.

Sczarni

All valid points. Thanks.

Can a +1, Bane, Furious weapon bypass alignment?

+1, +2 from Bane, and +2 from Furious?

Yes.

A +2 Furious/Bane weapon likewise can overcome DR/Epic.
