did you finish reading? I said I lied.... you have access to any race, any gear, any. well anything. except other classes bar the 2 I stated in the rest. (the idea is to make the strongest/weirdest -paladin- while still actually being a paladin. understand? a paladin 2-sorcerer-3-dragon disciple 10 is not, a paladin.

I would maintain that a paladin of Iori would definitely pursue the PrC as only proper.
The best thing to do is look at the archetype and see what kind of archetype paladin you can build...archetype as in 'what the paladin does' as opposed to class variants. SOme of the class archetypes are actually less effective at their jobs then another archetype built to address the same problem.
Alternatively, make a archetypical paladin of a god. A paladin of Torag likely has far different priorities then Iomadae or Saranrae or SHelyn.

Redeemed Balor Paladin 20.
Edit: Nah, redeemed pit fiend for the wish.
Yeah I can see it now:
Pit Fiend is sitting in his nightmarish lair of pain and torment... he hears the commotion outside of a Paladin group invading his domain.
"It seems I never have any peace around here, Paladins are always invading and dying to kill me... they sure get to kill a lot and nobody bothers them about it. I wish I was a Paladin sometimes... oh crap." Poof one Paladin Pit Fiend.

I think an Divine Hunter Archetype Paladin using two Double Barreled Pistols is most likely the best DPS option one can find for a Paladin in Paizo's Published sources.
Or maybe a mix between Holy Gun and Oath of Vengeance.
But the main thing here is to invest in two Greater Reliable Double Barreled Pistols combined with a Glove of Storing and Quick draw for a very dangerous full attack if you are with 20ft of any opponent.
This does make use of the very cheesy Touch attack firearms rules though...

There are several calculations not included in the character sheet just because I didn't want to over-complicate it any more than I already did. Speed is technically 10 feet faster because it is assumed that Longstrider is cast erryday, GMW is cast erryday for a +5 weapon, I guess you could also attempt to get Magic Vestment or Vestment of the Champion to be cast for the AC boost also.
The build runs around with his super duper Falcata which he wields two handed unless he needs AC in which case he draws the shield out. Normally when combat starts he can take a round to cast haste, cancelling out longstrider and adding more to hit and attacks and whatnot.
WBL is calculated assuming the rules for Craft Wondrous Item increases my available wealth by 25% specifically for Wondrous items as per Ultimate Campaign, I actually ended up short by ~5,000 gp, but I didn't think you would mind.
I really like Apsu as a deity since this is supposed to be the Ultimate paladin and Apsu is the original deity or creation, Sacred Servant gives access to the Travel Domain, and Oath of Vengeance gives damn near unlimited smites. The build also has a crap ton of spells to cast, which admittedly could have some more Cure spells and less offensive spells, but it's whatever.
Intimidate build is fun, originally I was also going to throw in Dazzling Display and Shatter Defenses, but they seemed redundant and unnecessary, and Extra Lay on Hands has more utility.
Attacks change based on a lot of things, depending on how WBL gets recalculated because of the Craft feat, he should own extra weapons that could be used with Holy Sword; with GMW one should always assume a +5 weapon, and Haste really helps out with offense. Shield of Faith can add +5 deflection bonus to AC when going up against an enemy that you cannot smite, and replaces the need for a ring of protection.
I went with the standard Aasimar with some racial adjustments from Blood of Angels because I like the skill bonuses better, since Diplomacy and Perception are two of the most useful skills in the game, especially to this character. Someone could probably spend more resources getting that STR a bit higher, but I find it unnecessary because I think I can do enough damage.
The only real disadvantage this build has is that Battle Blessing isn't in Pathfinder, it was just part of 3.5's Complete Champion release, and a lot of the spellcasting lacks the actions needed to be cast. Still, I love the whole, Litany of Righteousness coupled with Bladed Dash and using my agile feet to avoid difficult terrain. Makes it hella easy to mess up some enemies.
I guess I could have thrown in some Leadership shenanigans, but I was too lazy for that.
