You are cordially invited to attend the

GRAND OPENING

of Zrinka Twilight's new theater,

Mercurial Hall,

located in the East End, behind the Golden Cathedral.

We present to you, on the eve of Lastnight, three showings,
seven bells, nine bells, and eleven bells, of

The Sting of Calistria,

an interpretation in dance of
The Book of Joy,
performed by none other than

Zrinka Twilight

and her dance retinue!

Come see the Exemplar of Falcon's Hollow, Hero of the Fey, and Pathfinder exotique herself, in the flesh, and in her very own theater!

Seats are limited! Reserve yours now!

I have reserved my seat to see the lovely Zrinka Dance among the stars in the Mercurial Hall. I have in fact bought a seat to all three shows! You will not want to miss her as she spins her way into your hearts in her portrayal of the Sting of Calistria.

Is it a story of lust? of intrigue? of revenge? I can only hope for all the above. Marquis Kaleb Blackthorne will be in attendance with his companion, Sierra Vadalis- priestess of Daikitsu.

I can't help but wonder how that old theater (the one behind the Golden Cathedral) was requisitioned... what strings were pulled there, I wonder?

Liberty's Edge

What kind of dance establishment is this? I don't even see a pole...

"Well, I'm not much of a dancer myself, but, by Shelyn, this looks to be an extravaganza!" Sheliantha flashes a huge smile as she overpays for her tickets. She looks to her shoulder, and the tattoo there, and soon a tiny, winged woman emerges.

"Oooh, I hope they do duets, or Pas de Deux, I think!" The azata, Cuorecielo responds. "I love when people move in and out of counterpoint, like in a song!" She buzzes around excitedly. "When are we going to go? Who can we bring? You haven't -ever- had a date, Shel. You are always so busy saving things!"

The sorceress looks off a moment. "All things in time, Cuore. You know there's so much to be done. But, we will make an evening of it, and we can go shopping for some new dresses. We'll put the seamstresses here in town to a challenge, even if I have to flash a patent of knighthood around..."

Me me me me me me!

I can dance. I am a very good-er-est dancer.

Lemme dance!

Puhhhhh leeeese!

Liberty's Edge

"All parts have been filled! However, please check back next month when we begin our auditions for our next performance, The Phantom of Oppara."

Sczarni

A whole Grand Boring month?!?!?

I could bleach away waiting and you would miss my awesomerest dancing skills.

Fine then, you can not dance at my theater...

No wait! I am gonna come outside your theater and use gnome magic and entertain everyone with hyponotic pattern and my dancing!

Show you...

Silver Crusade

"Oh, great Pontificor! Greatest of the Color-sprayers I have ever heard of!" Sheliantha flashes another dazzling smile to the smaller man.

"I have learned this spell, this Color-spray, but I am not sure I am doing it very well. Could you, perhaps ... teach me to do it better?" She stands still looking in earnest, big green eyes blinking slowly.

Sczarni

"Ohh yes ohh yes ohh yes."

"Well any magicy person can do a normal colorspray. But the best color-spayers ask the sky for help. But the sky does not give her secrets for free. She curses you. The trick to this is have the sky curse you TWICE! That why my stuff is always lost and I have these frail burneded arms." As he waives his tiny blackened arms. "Then when you can to the most awesomerest displays you mega-magic it. I like per... per.. perspirant or something like that. So they can not shake it off. Then you give'em bad luck so it is harder to resist. Then as you know, knowing you are awesome makes magic harder to stop."

"Now Coelacantha, where is someone to test this on...." As he eyes up Zrinka for not letting him dance in her show.

In the latest issue of The Opparan Artist, famed art critic Baron Edwin LeBlanc writes:

...and another item of note, dear readers, is the recent opening night of The Sting of Calistria at the new Mercurial Hall in Almas. I was in attendance, and I must say that it was a fine opening night. Certainly, it was not up to the usual standards of what one would see in Oppara, but given the fact that the cast was made up primarily of amateur Andorans, I believe that it is fair to say that they put forth a good effort, providing a workmanlike performance at a reasonable rate. I will be watching with earnest their future offerings.

Now, moving on to the world of sculpture..."

And the Gladhanding ability from the Street Performer Archetype means that I earned 200 gp for my performance! :P

"While no one would purchase tickets to see me dance," says the shark-like teifling, "I am pleased to see that The Sacred Sting is receiving the attention in the artistic spotlight that she deserves."

"Best of luck in your future theatrical endeavors, Ms. Twilight! And if you encounter any unappreciative critics, or unruly patrons, who are in need of a bit of vengeance, well, I am always happy to be about Our Lady's work."
