Liberty's Edge

I don't know if it because I'm on my tablet, but the search function returns nothing atm.

I remember there was a thread that listed all the scenarios and modules that could be repeated for credit. But I don't seem to have it in my list anymore.

If someone could give me a link I would appreciate it.

Liberty's Edge 5/5 Venture-Agent, United Kingdom—England—Chester aka Paz

Scenarios that can be replayed:
Intro 1: First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore
#5–08: The Confirmation

Modules/APs that can be replayed:
We be Goblins!
Master of the Fallen Fortress
Crypt of the Everflame
Murder's Mark
The Godsmouth Heresy
Thornkeep: The Accursed Halls
Pathfinder Adventure Path #67: The Snows of Summer

I couldn't find a consolidated current list with a quick search either...

What about We Be Goblins Too?

Sovereign Court

You Don't Be Goblins Twice

Grand Lodge 5/5 Venture-Captain, Arizona—Phoenix aka TriOmegaZero

As a Level 2-4 module, it can't be repeated.

Liberty's Edge

{shrug} Ok, could have sworn I heard that it could also be repeated.

So just those 9 that Paz listed?

Ok, thanks guys.

Liberty's Edge 5/5 Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Martinsville aka thaX

Now that the Confirmation is out, isn't First Steps retired?

thaX wrote:

Not Part 1.

Shadow Lodge 5/5

Only parts 2 & 3 are retired. They haven't retired the first part yet.

Liberty's Edge 5/5 Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Martinsville aka thaX

Ah. So is there an "evergreen" that will be outside the season rota still upcoming?

Shadow Lodge 5/5

The "evergreen" is The Confirmation. They haven't mentioned any scenarios that are "outside the season rota" and I don't think they'd have the time for any extras either.

It's the first section of the Pathfinder Online: Thornkeep multi-module thing.

It's technically repeatable, but there is a VERY high death rate for first level characters running through that one.

Paz's list is currently it.

Oh ok. From the description, I thought that was just another sourcebook. I didn't realize it was a module. Since it is so deadly, does it have particularly good rewards/boons/storyline?

.
It (and Snows of Summer) are pretty expensive for modules though.
Are they really good enough to be worth it?

What would you consider the best three for experienced players starting new characters?

What would you consider the best three for inexperienced players starting their first character?

For new players I would assume The Confirmation, In Service to Lore, and We Be Goblins. But I would like your opinions because I haven't run or played through all of those yet.

Thornkeep is a great module, interesting local, some pretty interesting NPCs, but as stated before it is very deadly for 1st level characters, I can think of three particualr hard encounters any of which could wipe an entire party. If you want to get the best "bang for your buck" first steps part one is a free download, as is MotFF, and WBG.

This is a good list for starters. We recently did a similar lineup: Confirmation --> First Steps 1 --> Thornkeep: Accursed Halls.

Accursed halls is a BIT easier if players are not 100% brand new, although having a level 2 or two helps even more.

This lineup leaves characters at level 2 with 5 xp, just one scenario away from level 3.

Spoiler:
Psh. As long as everyone in the party has an insanely high Touch AC, everyone should be fine! ;p
Sovereign Court 4/5 ⦵⦵⦵⦵ Venture-Agent, Georgia—Atlanta aka The Masked Ferret

I have always enjoyed Master of the Fallen Fortress. And it is free as well.

Liberty's Edge

Free is nice.

But especially for a good repeatable one, I don't mind paying for it.

It just bugs me when I buy one read through it and all I can say is "Well since I paid for it, I guess I will go ahead and run it."

So Thornkeep: Accursed Halls is one of those that give you 3 xps? I didn't realize that.

Yep, it is considered a full module.

Not only that, but for the purchase price of the Thornkeep Online book, you actually get 5 total modules.

Accursed Halls
Forgotten Laboratory
Enigma Vaults
Dark Menagerie
Sanctum of a Lost Age

These span levels 1 through 7 or 8 if I remember correctly.

FWIW, The Confirmation has over 5,000 different encounter combinations for a party of six 1st level players. Just sayin'..

Kyle, didn't anyone tell you it's bad to pimp your own stuff?

You're supposed to get others to do it!

FYI. I liked it and so did my players.

I haven't read through it yet, but I finally did get the chance to play it last weekend. It was pretty interesting for a 1st level module. I'm quite certain, that is one that I will be buying in the near future.

I wasn't pimping! I was merely stating quantitative fact.

It also runs fast. My average is about 5 hours, but I've done it in 3.

Edit: Well, I guess it's more "mode" than "mean" but you know what I'm getting at.

The Exchange 5/5 Venture-Agent, Kentucky—Lexington

My recommended path is now:
The Confirmation
We Be Goblins

Then either Murders Mark for inexperienced or Godsmouth Heresy for experienced.

You end up 1 away from 3rd.
