Since I am thinking about making an adamantine spiked gauntlet a bonded item for a char of mine:
How many Hit points (HP) does a standard/steel spiked gauntlet have?
Only RAW answers please.
Consider:
-It is neither a "light blade" (2HP), nor a "light metal-hafted weapon" (10HP) or "light hafted weapon" (2HP).
-Adamantine has HP/inch 40. Since there is no source that defines the thickness of a spiked gauntlet, there is no way to determine this RAW.
-If one would assume, that it has the same HP as medium armor, it would at least have 20HP. The problem is, I could also say that my gauntlet stems from a full plate (45HP).
-----
Also, even if we can determine the HP: In 3.5, one could not sunder armor.
Can you sunder armour in Pathfinder (in a combat situation)?
I cannot find anything about this in the books.

RAW doesn't detail the hit points of every object. Your GM will have to make that call. As for me, I wouldn't give a gauntlet the same number of hit points as a full set of armor. I'd me more inclined to price similarly to other light weapons.
Yes, you can sunder armor.
You can attempt to sunder an item held or worn by your opponent as part of an attack action in place of a melee attack.

One way to look at it would be to count the gauntlets as armor with an AC bonus of 0.
Armor items have HP of 5x bonus. A bonus of 0 is usually counted as 1/2 for purposes of calculations, so 5 x 1/2 = 2.
Adamantine items increase HP by 1/3 (iron is 30/in, adamantine is 40/in). (5 x 1/2) x 4/3 = 3.
Otherwise, the closest thing they resemble on the chart is light blades.
