hero lab question

Product Discussion

This may be stupid, but I am having serious issues.

I am trying to make a fun character, and I am thinking about using Garuda-blooded Aasimar, So I am trying to put that into hero lab, and I can only find how to make the base Aasimar.

Anybody know how to change the Aasimar heritage?

On the left side of the Background tab, after you pick Aasimar, Aasimar Heritages is the third option under Factions and Add Alternate Racial Traits ... but you have to have the data package that includes Blood of Angels. The option's not in the core package.

You whip out your credit card, and then you pay Hero Labs because you are using their product.
Alternatively, you could just grab a free character sheet--I use necrosis--fill it in there, and then not have to worry about it.

Fair enough, I know that they can get a bit on the pricy side. The issue is that I am a bit of a newer player, and a casual player. So hero lab makes sure I do things right.

Here you are, truncate stuff to make sure it all works.
You ~should~ be able to fit everything on here. I have yet to find a situation where a character wouldn't fit. Even if it all doesn't there is the notes section, where you can easily resolve the rest.

My entire D&D group uses this to build characters, and I think it is just one of those things where I can say, "Yup. I did well."

Taku Ooka Nin's Ultra-Done Template, staring Necros character sheet.

And--yes, it is fillable, even if that isn't a word.

To gain access to alternate heritages for Aasimar in Hero Lab, you need to purchase the companion pack that includes "Blood of Angels". This gives you the aasimar alternates.
