A multi-bloodline Gnome Sorcerer?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

I got a little confused when I was coming up with my Gnome sorcerer. I was wanting to have him go to a Dragon bloodline, but I understand that Gnomes have Fey origin. Is it a requirement for them to be a Fey Bloodline Sorcerer, or is there a possibility for me to get him to a Dragon bloodline or possibly having both?

Also, I should make it known that creating and playing spellcasters confuse me the most, but I (try to) do so out of party necessity.

Even though Gnomes have a Fey flavour in their origins, they can have any Bloodline they like.

As for having two Bloddlines, the only way to do that is with the Crossblodded Archetype found in Ultimate Magic.

The fey origin is already built in the race. You can choose any bloodline you want.

You CAN get 2 bloodlines with the cross-blooded archetype (kind of), but it has many drawbacks and I think you should not go for it with this character.

The Eldritch heritage feat chain is another way to get something similar to a second bloodline. Its worth depends greatly on the kind of character you want to build.

A Sorcerer is the best caster for someone new at playing them (it's what I did anyway).

Have a look at the guides in the Advice section, choose your style (say blaster, or debuffer, or controller) and cast away ;-)

Note : if you want more advice on your character, post in the Advice section. You should get mostly kind and relevant answers, especially if you explain the context as you did here ;-)

Alright, I was just concerned if I had to stick with the Fey origin for the Sorcerer class with a Gnome no matter what, or if I was able to select a different Sorcerer bloodline. Thanks.

if you are going to play a gnome sorcerer, also check out the pyromaniac racial trait, it gives you a bonus on fire spells.
