Update from WYG

WYC - WYG Hotel update

Greetings Gamers,
Say, were you cursing the fact that the Host Hotel of Who's Yer Con 2014 sold out so quickly?
Well, never fear, because we have some great news:

The Baymont Inn and Suites, a mere 1.8 miles away, is now our official overflow hotel. We have secured 25 rooms for a discounted rate of $62.99 + tax, with the option to add more. Just like the Clarion, you need to call the hotel directly and ask to be in the Who's Yer Con block. This rate is valid for February 21st-23rd, and all reservations MUST be made by February 19th to qualify.
Additionally, the Baymont will have a FREE shuttle service to and from the Con throughout the weekend. We are still arranging the exact times, but there will be service starting Friday afternoon - 1 a.m., Saturday morning thru 1 a.m., and then again on Sunday morning.
Spread the word, and avail yourself of this service, as the parking lot at the Clarion will most definitely fill up.
(And, should we see The Baymont full of gamers, we may use their 60-person meeting space for even more OPEN GAMING. More details to follow.)

Your support and enthusiasm for Who's Yer Con 2014 has just been amazing. We are so excited, and can't wait to see you hearty adventurers in February!

Hey all,

I have been getting intermittent emails from people saying that they are still seeing the "GM PLEASE ONLY REGISTER" site.

I do not know exactly why that is happening--my guess is that either the device (mobile or desktop) or the browser has an old cache of the page--but refreshing the page at least once or twice seems to help.

If you are getting the "GM only page still"....Please ignore that and click the upper right "Register for this site" button (right below the dashboard).

Regards,

Jim Crase

This was my first convention that I ran scenarios for and, I really enjoyed the learning experience! Great convention and I was happy to be a part of it.

Had a great time this weekend. Still trying to wake up and get into the groove for the Monday morning workday. Can't wait to see where they move to next year. I 'think' the con made their hotel donation budget (or very close to it), to move to a large facility for the next year. The booked their hotel solid, and they booked the overflow hotel solid as well.

Another fantastic con! Thanks to all the GM's that made my experience a good one.

And special thanks to Chris Bonnet and Jim Crase for organizing the event. Great job guys!

An honorable mention for the other volunteers who helped Chris/Jim with coordinating HQ and for Cactus Jack (Mike Costello) for overseeing the Diamond City special.

I especially enjoyed the author's seminar with Mike Shel, Mark Garringer, and James Wilbur. Getting insight directly from the minds of those who are providing us the very content that dazzles our minds is soooo cool!
