I have zero faith whatsoever in Amazon's release dates for our products—they're frankly as good as useless. Not only do they change to seemingly random dates for no apparent reason, but we've even heard from customers who have received emails from Amazon saying "this product has been delayed by several months" on the very same day that they receive an email saying "your order has shipped."
All I can tell you is that we've been shipping the reprint of the Beginner Box to distributors for a couple of months now. From there, though, we have little insight and virtually no control.

After being scheduled for December 2013, then pushed back to January 2014, I see the 2nd edition of the Pathfinder Beginner box has now disappeared from Amazon UK's own inventory. One retailer is offering it for £999! Today there two copies available on eBay UK - one from Australia and one from Germany - and in both cases the postage costs more than the game itself.
The Pathfinder Beginner Box is a fantastic product and a perfect way to get RPGs into the hands of unsuspecting families who would never be found rummaging around in specialist game stores. But that can never happen with distribution that sucks this badly.
I want to buy this wonderful game for my friends and relatives without being hammered by high postage charges from distant games retailers.
Come on, Paizo. Sort it out!

I had a preorder with Amazon UK for the Beginner Box which dispatched today.
I would imagine they didn't order enough to have any stock left after fulfilling preorders. From Vic's comments above it appears Amazon are the problem here - at a guess they've made the choice to pull it from sale on their site rather than ordering more copies and allowing customers to backorder.

The Book Depository sent me an email 4 days ago that my order from back in October (when it was scheduled to come out at the end of October and then got delayed to April of 2014) should be dispatched soon.
I sent them an e-mail today since it was still shown as processing (impatience!) to which they replied that they "are experiencing some delays obtaining stock from our suppliers", but that they "expect to receive stock imminently"
Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon and I can finally get my grubby mitts on a copy.
