Paizo, why do you do this to me?

1.- Get to work in the morning.

2.- Open my mail account as usual, to check on important stuff.

3.- See a Paizo email about the Golem Sale.

4.- Check said Golem Sale.

5.- See prices.

6.- End up buying games I didn't even know existed, because discounts.

I hope you are happy. Between you and Steam, my wallet won't even talk to me anymore.

My sympathies to you. I hate when I fail my willpower roll.

I have just enough money left in my account until Tuesday for a flip-mat and shipping...

Well. Had.

Actually hoping everything else I want is sold out by Tuesday so I don't spend any more :)

My work here is done.

...UNTIL THE NEXT TIME. BWAH HAH HAH HAH!

Am somewhat upset that Paizo's Golem Sale appears to have sold out of Golems already :(

Having a wife who loves RPGs is great most days. She even GMs for me sometimes.

Not today. I tried to get her to be my voice of reason to restrain me on this sale. Instead she just fans the flames. "Get more maps, too. I want map packs."

And then she left. And I'm just like "Don't leave me alone with the Golem!!!"

To think, I was going to fill in a couple of other spots in my APs (Carrion Crown, Kingmaker, and Jade Regent), then this shows up and suddenly, it's the rest of Council of Thieves and Serpent's Skull instead. :P

And here I was like, well I think I'm done buying APs, I have enough to last YEARS now (running Runelords and CotCT now, playing in Wrath, have Kingmaker, Carrion Crown, Shattered Star and Reign on the docket) but then I'm like OOOOOOOH Serpent's Skull!

Ditto. I finished off my Council of Thieves, Curse of the Crimson Thrones, and picked up Serpents Skull for the Lolz. And random dollar here or there. Red Dwarf ooo.

Of course, I got the email for this the day after I dropped 100 bucks on supplies for the gaming table I likely won't even use until after the holidays. *sigh*

Ordered a bunch of stuff (cards & maps). Hit the final Order All This Stuff button. Got dumped back to the main web page. No e-mail confirmation. Stuff still in shopping cart. Not sure if order is still in the works, or got canceled for some unknown reason. Don't want to try again, since I don't want two copies of everything. Typing in stilted sentences.

Did you get a confirmation email? While not an expert on the inner clockwork that makes the Golem move, I would guess such thing to be an automated response and thus, if there was no email, the order was not processed.

Myself, I nabbed four rulebooks and three expansions for Smallworld, and I still paid less than when ordering sushi.

Is also probably worth checking "My Account", then the Order History at the top right - it ought to be in there.

No email. Nothing new in Order History. Still not willing to risk spending an extra couple of hundred dollars.

Same thing happened to me. I would resubmit your order. If you don't get the confirmation, both on the site and via email, then no order was processed. If it were to double up it would be fairly simple to cancel one. (I have done so in the past)

I myself bought 5 complete APs... and find it odd that the non mint books are not on sale. I pay $6 each for 5 (mint) books in the AP and pay $15 for the one non-mint to complete the series? :P

I mean I understand having to pay more for a missing book on amazon or something (which I also had to do) but not for a non returnable sight unseen damaged one from Paizo itself.

Oh well I guess...

Just completed my collection of 3.5 modules in hardcopy, huzzar!

If the order had been processed, your credit card would have been charged for a small fee in order to check it. Look on your card's movements and, if there is a fee, then the order went through. If not, the order was not processed.

Note that Paizo guys are pretty forthcomming and helpful about these things, so if you still feel unsure, contact them. They've helped me in the past with mistakes on orders and last-minute changes.

I would also point out at that at the current volume of sales due to the sale, delaying may cause some of the items in your cart to sell out. It happened to me when I was deciding whether to re-submit my order. That is the reason why I had to buy a non-mint version. :P

I could not resist the Second Darkness bundle!

Unfortunately, when I check out, I get the error message "Order cannot be completed. Cannot find valid shipping rate. Please contact Paizo customer service for assistance." It's still happening.

I did drop an email Friday morning, but haven't heard back yet. I'm guessing I'm not the only one...

Well, I added two more items to my shopping cart, and then tried to check out again. The sale went through this time!

Yeah, I'm trying to get LoF to complete my collection, and it's giving me the same issue. I might take a look tonight and see if maybe adding stuff to the cart might work.

Got tempted with those really cheap starter decks for the Warcraft CCG. Always been intrigued about trying it out.

My previous order had not yet been sent, so I was offered the option to consolidate both into the same shipping, for more discounts!

Both times I've done it in the morning (8:30-9:00 am at GMT -4) and had no issues with the page. If schedule allows, perhaps you could try to process the order at this hour?

Was able to get all the map packs I wanted, unable to tell if the flip maps on my wish list were on sale and sold out because I was late to the show or if they're just that old and I should have been paying closer attention.

Please note that the sale cannot be combined with preorders, backorders, or future subscription shipments.

That was painful indeed.
