question about a Strand Prayre Beads (Standard)

Shadow Lodge

in the CRB under Strand of Prayer Beads (Standard) it Lists a price of 45,800

then farther down in the description it Lists Cost Modifiers if Beads are Missing

bead of blessing –600 gp,
bead of healing –9,000 gp,
bead of karma –20,000 gp,
bead of smiting –16,800 gp,
bead of summons –20,000 gp,
bead of wind walking –46,800 gp

the question I have is this:

is it Legal to buy one of these with a Missing Bead (Summons for instance)

this isnt a caster level issue ... its a listed option in the CRB ... thats why Im asking

It isn't legal to buy an incomplete item. However, it would be pretty cool to find a strand with a few beads missing on a chronicle sheet.

Writers, take note! :D

Dark Archive

Even if it was legal you cannot remove the bead of summons from the standard strand of prayer beads because it does not actually contain one.

"A strand of prayer beads has a bead of healing, a bead of karma, and a bead of smiting."

That has actually already happened in a PFS scenario :-)
