I've got 3817 gp, haven't played PFS in months, and just hit level 4.

Setting aside 280 gp to retrain a level into Sorcerer, and I'm not even sure I'll do that, I have a hell of a lot of money to spend.

I am now taking suggestions.

Whats the build?

Sczarni

I'm an idiot for not including the build. Apologies.

Currently half elf Rogue 2/Sorcerer (Tattooed Linnorm, Cat familiar) 2, heading to Rogue 3/Sorcerer X/Tattooed Mystic Y

Currently packing Point Blank Shot, Rapid Reload (Heavy Crossbow), Two-Weapon Fighting via Combat Trick rogue talent, Skill Focus (Bluff) via half elf racial trait.

Favored classes Rogue and Sorcerer.

May end up retraining some feats into a more melee focus to take advantage of the eventual f&#@tillion Blistering Bands I'll no doubt be taking. Currently she's a bit all over the place. Would embrace the retraining more fully but it feels just a bit too much like retconning, so I'd like to keep it to a minimum.

Big fan of Ioun Stones, so I'm gonna see about picking some of those up. Or enchanted gear, maybe. Not sure.

Circlet of persuasion, headband of charisma (yes they work together), belt of dexterity are all possibilities. A cloak of resistance is the volvo of purchases: boxy but good.

Sczarni

Already have a +1 Cloak of Resistance. The rest of your suggestions, though good, are slightly out of my price range.

I'm thinking maybe an amulet of natural armor, or bracers. Since I'm planning on a more caster-focused style I'll have to get rid of the arcane spell failure chance, but still have some decent protection.

Alternatively, a Bladed Belt, because that sounds gosh-darn cool.

I'd definitely recommend against the bracers, because if you are not wearing armor you are much better off with a simple wand of mage armor. 2pp or 750 gold, lasts an hour, will easily last you your career unless you are sharing charges with people.

Nat armor is allright, but I would do a quick search for neck slot items. There may be a few that are pretty darned nice depending on the build for that slot.

I think I'm gonna grab a Sleeves of Many Garments, at least. It's cheap and looks useful.

Though a Hat of Disguise might be a better investment, if I'm looking for an actual multipurpose disguise and not just buying a wondrous item for the sake of owning one.

I'm thinking about going with a draconic theme, to go with the Linnorm bloodline and all the draconic tattoos she's gonna get when her bloodline powers come in. Any suggestions?

Sczarni

Hrm. A Bag of Holding would be very cool, but I keep coming back to Hat of Disguise.

Anybody got any opinions on which is the better investment? My spell DC is kinda crappy (12 for level 1 spells), so Hat of Disguise might not work so often.

But with the amount of equipment I have I'm three pounds away from lugging around a heavy load.

Silver Crusade 2/5

If your load is a problem, look at a masterwork backpack. It increases your strength by one for the purpose of calculating encumbrance. If that is not enough, a handy haversack has wonderful properties.

However, for a sorcerer, it is really hard to go wrong with a headband of alluring charisma, and a circlet of persuasion is wonderful for a social character. Just save for one more scenario.

The nice thing about the hat is that there's no save unless they touch you pretty much.

I was recently talked out of getting Bracers of Armor for my Witch. Pick up some Ceremonial Robes instead. They give you a +1 Armor bonus with no ACP or ASF, and I think a Masterwork set only costs 180gp. Enchanting them will always be less expensive than upping the bonus to your Bracers. That leaves your Wrists slot open for the Sleeves of Many Garments, which coincidentally I also picked up. If you're on a budget now, the Sleeves are amazing.
