Greetings fellow followers of the Sapphire Sage! May his wisdom light the path for us all.
I come to you this day with a warning to be weary of the Silver Crusade. That group of supposedly holy individuals has come to my attention of late. A fellow pathfinder needed help retrieving a book of late (he lacked the strength of character to penetrate its wards). As I'm sure most of you would also do I used my mystic training to retrive said volume. It turned out to be a veritable manual on things Demonic and Diabolic and Daemonic! What a valuable find!
Can you believe that he then asked me to destroy said store of knowledge?! At a time when demons are being sighted with growing regularity across the inner sea and Mendelv's ward stones are failing?
Naturally I refused his demand, but be warned our goals of preservation may soon come into conflict with the forces of so called "good."
May knowledge be your guide,
Edmar Finn

"...In such a case; be prepared.
Carry some extra items in just in case. a some blank tomes, some glue, a couple of short lengths of rope and a sack or two.
See if able there are are spells that allow the copying of texts. (Scriveners Chant and Kreighton's perusal might help).
Or if you find yourself in a city find an excuse to get away and pay a scribe to copy the text for you (or several if the tome is large).
It might also be easier to destroy the book as asked. Just ensure the binding and the blank pages of similar book are the only things burned..."

Greetings ,
It is with amazement and somewhat of consternation that I read the latest letter from the Sapphire sage. His indication that the Diamond sage is located in Eto warms my heart like the Midday sun. However the fact that several stones lay buried near the Diamond sage and that these stones are relics of forgotten lore I find amazing.
Wait however.
I also feel a deep.. perhaps .. sense of fear that these stones are all together. I have been a agent of the lodge for sometime and as I am sure many of you are too. We know that often when something appears in our favor, it is anything but. I am also worried what effect the rise of new jeweled sages would have on the face of Golarion and the Society.
While it is true that the Society is generally benevolent, can anyone doubt that the seed of corruption is present or that everyone they have traveled with is pure of heart?. I can honestly say I cannot, thus it worries me that we will find these relics. I am not sure who I would become were I to find one.
I would ask that we make sure that we secure these items as soon as we find them.
Rahtotep,
Son of Rahadoum
