sorceror bloodlines -Leveling

Advice

What are the different parts of the bloodline based off of level wise?

-Sorceror Level, Sorceror caster level, or just your level?

Liberty's Edge

All of them are based off of sorcerer level. All class abilities are based off the class level unless specifically stated otherwise.

You might want to be a bit more specific with your question since bloodlines vary tremendously. There's really no need to be coy about your agenda when you ask questions like this.

I was thinking for a Mystic Theurge taking the serpentine bloodline. If you only ever take one level of sorceror you technically will never the familiar or the higher level bonus spells correct?

Once you leave your sorcerer class to PrC, your bloodline specific features do not scale up unless they are SPECIFICALLY based on caster level. Nor do yo acquire any new ones. (including the bonus spells). You continue to advance in spells known as per the sorcerer table when the PRC advances your sorcerer casting level. The Dragon Disciple is one PrC where an exception to this rule is built into the PrC itself.
