As my group (finally!) is about to enter Book 3, I am curious what those who have already run this campaign did with Tidewater Rock. While a bit forced, the crew of the Bloody Bones "broke the Rock" and the Captain "married" the Lady.
But as Book 3 begins, nowhere did I find any mention of the old port-of-call. It's like Book 3 ignores the carry-overs from book 2. Which is fine, I guess, but I suspect my players will feel a bit robbed if I just pretend none of that ever happened.
I have some thoughts (heh, heh) about how to wrap up the Tidewater Rock subplot, but I'm curious what, if anything, other GMs did with this dangling plot-hook.

My players captured the Rock by force, and later fought their way past the Dominator, leaving several dead and dying crewmen behind.
Once they've had a chance to move their ships to a new haven, I'll have the Chelian Navy raid it, based on information gained from interrogating prisoners.. that'll teach them not to leave their own wounded behind. :)

Nice.
Well, evil, actually, but very Chelaxian! ;D
A good spot to add in some more hints about Chelaxian plans for the Shackles, too. Like it!

My PCs ended up doing the same thing. The captain ended up marrying Agasta and they were making plans to use Tidewater Rock as a base of operations, building some simple warehouses and a pier to dock at. The problem of it not showing up again solved itself pretty neatly though.
My PCs ended up capturing Inkskin after they fought her so that they could question her. Inkskin managed to escape them though. When they came back to Tidewater Rock after going to Mancatcher Cove, they found that Inkskin had come back while they were gone, sacked the island, and butchered everyone who lived there.
The captain paid to have Agasta resurrected, but she told him in no uncertain terms that her being tortured to death was completely his fault, and since they had married 'til death do us part', they were no longer married, and she wanted them all off her island.

Excellent take on the marriage clause
