Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Silver Crusade

I do have one suggestion for a "side product" that Paizo should probably publish to go with this game: Booster packs with the 11 character and 11 role cards!

That way, people could write on their character and role cards freely, without worrying about ruining them, and still have fresh versions to use the next time they start a new character that needs the same card.

Or you could just print out the free character .pdfs and keep one for each character you played with.

Or sleeve only the cards you need to write on, and write on the sleeve.

With a soft tip marker, lest you end up etching your cards. Whoever wrote in the rulebook that they suggest writing in light pencil played a very funny joke on all of us.

Writing on a piece of paper also works. Although some characters can be so monofocused you really only have to keep track of a number.

By "light," we mean "don't press hard enough to make a groove." 'Cause, yeah, that's not good.

I've considered using the free character sheets to make a fold-card copy to fit in a sleeve. My biggest issue on this is the wasted paper cutting them out would leave. Would Paizo consider another PDF that includes 4-6 character cards per page to be cut and used?

In terms of a printed product sold in stores, I'd like a more comprehensive rulebook. From the FAQ I see a lot of clarifications that may end up being erratas, The rulebook is thin enough to quickly succumb to new player damage and the short blurb about character and scenario creation opens up a can of worms that we're not ready to eat so I'd really like for the rulebook to have a more of an idea of how to make characters and if possible scenarios.

Making a character is simple enough but I think there needs to be a list of set powers and/or roles for character building so that we don't have people trying to make up their own overpowered ones. Perhaps, power/role cards can be released so we can piece them together that way.

I'd also like a new box for sleeved cards.

And for that matter some sleeves so I can put them on my pathfinder and Magic: the Gathering cards.

There's already a downloadable PDF of the rulebook. It wouldn't surprise me if it got updated to include the FAQ changes on a regular basis.

Oh yeah, just thought of this. What if we were sold and empty box?

sounds weird but if we had an empty box with slots (and maybe a few generic cards,) by the time we get a new base set it would make it easier to build our own adventure paths by putting in specific monsters, NPCs, ect, from the previous sets to form the flavor and setting we want in our custom adventures. Or as just a placeholder for the 'currently in play adventure path allowing us a greater range of keeping old spells in new adventures without messing up the usefulness of our original boxes.
