One of the greats from the Golden Age of Sci-fi. He will be missed.
I wish there were a dozen clones just like him. He stayed so engaged with the world and his writing even in his '90s, in a way I wish more authors could be.
*sigh* I had been a few weeks late with reading his blog and learned about Fred Pohl's death from Louis Agresta's facebook post. No more stories from the early fantasy & sf fandom.
