Eldritch Heritage / Superior summoning

Rules Questions

Hi,

I have two questions:

1. Does a non human character with the eldritch heritage feat have access to the imperious bloodline (only available to human sorcerers)?

2. Feat:

Quote:
Benefit: Each time you cast a summoning spell that conjures more than one creature, add one to the total number of creatures summoned.

Summon Monster:

Quote:
...1d3 creatures of the same kind from the 1st-level list

When I roll a 1, how many monster are summoned?

For #2: I'd say in that case, roll a d4 instead of a d3. Whatever comes up is what you take. Otherwise, you have an equal chance of rolling a 1, 3, and 4, where 2 doesn't even exist.

For #1: No. The bloodline is only available to Humans. Just as half-elves do not count as elves for purposes of taking Spell Dancing Magus, and half-orcs do not count as orcs for Scarred Witch Doctor. (They should, but no.)

Both of these answers are incorrect.

If you roll a 1 on summon monster, you get one monster. Since you didn't summon more than one, you don't get the bonus. If it were the other way, it would say something like "whenever you could conjure multiple creatures, add one to the result." As written, the feat only looks at the result of the roll, not whether you could have had multiples.

Also, Eldritch Heritage does not require you to meet the prerequisites of the bloodline. The only requirements are that you have CHA 13, the appropriate skill focus feat, and haven't already have the chosen bloodline.

I completely agree about the half orc/elf though.
