Also affirmative! I'm starting to wonder if you lot are trying to suck up to me or something.

Only if you hire me Demon Queen.

In which case, Google also does a better visual representation of the data collected...and the unfiltered things are easier to look through!

Are oranges orange because they were orange when we found them, or did they become orange once we saw them?

Wait, wait, are you suggesting they are not orange if we are not looking at them, mind...blown.

This is one of those "tree falls in the forest" type questions ain't it?

Puts orange on desk, takes inspection mirror out of drawer, fires up cell phone camera...will get to the bottom of this TODAY!

My Boss - "What are you doing now?"

Me - "I'm trying to find out if it is still an orange if I'm not looking at it."

My Boss - "You mean the fruit or the color?"

Me - "Wait, what?"

My Boss - "Do you mean is it still AN orange or is it still orange?"

Me - "Um, both, I think"

My Boss - "Well if it is not orange when you are not looking at it, it could still be an orange, and if it is not an orange it could still be orange, however if it is not orange nor an orange it is neither orange nor an orange, right. See that's why I make the big bucks."

We should ask Bill Waterson.

The main question is, why wasn't William of Orange a) actually orange or b) actually an orange? Why has history lied to us? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? Didn't they have tanning booths in the 1600s?

No, just a higher dream mortgage.

No, it leads to insanity.

When you say it like that, you make it sound like a bad thing.

I can't remember if it does?

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

It's not yet fully understood.

How much are the "plus taxes and fees" for your $100 per month "Simple Choice Plan"? Does "taxes approx. 6-28%" really mean 28%?

It probably means 628%, and they figured sticking a - in there would make it look better.

as I just discovered after canceling my cable service, the Mohu flat antenna is fricking awesome!

Do these slippers really have a left and a right, or have I just been fooling myself?

Do you have a left and right?!

Square feet = square boots.

There should be plush goblin bedroom slippers. That would be splendid.

Gary Teter wrote:

flip them both so they're facing the same way.

Gary Teter wrote:

Yes, but they are interchangeable so you don't get bored.

I think it's so we don't get bored watching him try to figure it out.

Why do they prohibit changing lanes on that part of the bridge?

Ever since that one guy went over they've wanted to play it safe.

They want you to pay attention to the stoplights warning the bridge will be opening or that it is open rather than getting distracted by changing lanes to pass someone.

None, none xylitol is safe to eat! Ah-ah-ah-ah! {cue thunder & lightning}

Wikipedia wrote:

Xylitol has no known toxicity in humans. In one study, the participants consumed a diet containing a monthly average of 1.5 kg of xylitol with a maximum daily intake of 430 g with no apparent ill effects. Like most sugar alcohols, it has a laxative effect because sugar alcohols are not fully broken down during digestion; albeit one-tenth the strength of sorbitol.[clarification needed] The effect depends upon the individual. In one study of 13 children, four experienced diarrhea when consuming over 65 grams per day. Studies have reported adaptation occurs after several weeks of consumption.

As with other sugar alcohols, with the exception of erythritol, consumption in excess of one's laxation threshold (the amount of sweetener that can be consumed before abdominal discomfort sets in) can result in temporary gastrointestinal side effects, such as bloating, flatulence, and diarrhea. Adaptation, an increase of the laxation threshold, occurs with regular intake. Xylitol has a lower laxation threshold than some sugar alcohols, but is more easily tolerated than others such as mannitol and sorbitol.

Bonnacon

Edit: If you'd like to throw one at your players, SupaBadgerStah! worked something similar up for the KQ site: Charnel Cow

Given that Pliny's description of the wildebeest adds up to a catoblepas, and his hyena is the leucrotta (and Gene Wolfe's alzabo), I'd bet this was an aurochs. I know Wiki says it may have been a bison, but given the description, I disagree.
