(Midgard serpent nerfed to CR 2?)

Hmmm... Transmute Pudding to Ooze... what kind of components might be needed for that? Three pounds of bathroom drain sludge? A hairball? Would generic garbage be enough? Or maybe, a pudding is firmer than an ooze, perhaps you would just need to add water?

"Get back in my belly Serpent I am still finishing you."

Nothing would surprise me with this group

Jenny: you are getting the feeling that when you are level 3 the mystery will clear up

BTW: Did you forget to bring your character sheet? tsk tsk

Hmmm? Character sheet? Oh, I am a level 2 human Jellomancer. Being green, well, it's really mostly makeup.

Sovereign Court

Jellomancer...Must be in some splatbook, probably the same one kickassaturge is in.

"yeah when we need him I can open my jaw and throw him up. Otherwise he stays in my belly like before. "

Sovereign Court

MS: Evil characters are forbidden, otherwise you would have been fine

Nasty: weirder things have happened.

So... uber-mega Colossal size. Dat touch AC!!!

Touch AC 17 Flat Footed 143
DR 80/Mjolnir
SR 45

Hope you don't mind, but I didn't list my spells. That would have taken too long.

Nasty Orc gives a sheepish look.

"Sorry Midgard looks like you are going to need to stay in my belly unless our DM says you can come out."

With a big slurping sound he sucks the Midgard Serpent back inside his mouth which is slow at first and then almost magically he quickly disappears with a huge glob of saliva spraying out has his head disappears. And with a huge gulp followed by a loud belch the Midgard Serpent is once again gone.

He smiles and shrugs his shoulders.

"We go now?"

Sovereign Court

MS: That's ok I have the D20PFRSD available.

Nasty: Yeah that sounds like a capstone ability

I was not unwanted. I was summoned.

Sorry forgot to update that. Though under his description it does mention he ate the Midgard Serpent once ... whole. He unhinged his jaw and it did take a long time.

Sovereign Court

Now Now guys if you want to argue there's always the rules forum! Besides aren't you two kinda related?

No. He is related to a puny dragon.

I am a serpent.

Can I kill both of them?

You are more than welcome to go after MS, however we do not do PvP here.

Liberty's Edge

I'll head to Balamos

Gives "Odd Mages" book to JRR. Kickassiturge is listed as a wizard who casts lots of useless spells and makes VERY bad decisions

Sovereign Court

You easily find the road leading out of town towards Lord Balamos' manor.

The wind has picked up and the sky is getting overcast, you hear the distant rumble of thunder getting closer.*Rolls dice for random encounters...Nothing*

As you proceed the road is flanked by weeping willows in various stages of decay, as you crest a hill in the distance you see a rather impressive sized gothic manor surrounded by a large moat.

The sun is setting, the thunderstorm approaches, you are approximately a quarter of a mile from the manor.

Liberty's Edge

I always seem to head for the dramatic locations, don't I?

Okay, I head straight up, saying to anyone I meet "I wish to see Lord Balamos!!!

Sovereign Court

As you approach closer to the manor you notice the once grand manor appears to be in a sad state of disrepair, The moat surrounding the manor is 25' wide and the filled with stagnant green algae cesspool reeking of decay.

Ahead of you is a raised drawbridge that is flanked by 2 12' tall stone gargoyles.

A male voice rings out "Who Goes there?"

Did you really expect anything but drama from tolkien?

"I am Nasty Orc. This is Alissa the Ranger our leader, AM HEALER, James Bard the nice man with the haggis, Gazebo my friend, Nesod, AM sorcerer Too and Jenny the Jelly Candy lady. We want to see Lord Balamos guy."

Intimidate: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20 His attempt o be diplomatic.

He looks back at the team and smiles.

"Me did good right?"

Sovereign Court

In between the thunderclaps you hear the sound of scampering feet and voices asking for the watch captain a voice comes out of the darkness

"What business do you have with the master of the house?"

Liberty's Edge

Our business is twofold.

1. We seek information on the Tomb of Borrors.

2. Saint Swizzle's stick was stolen from me, the returned St. Swizzle. We seek justice.

Sovereign Court

After what seems an eternity,(actually 15 minutes) you hear a horrible sceeching noise(Think metal claws on a chalkboard)as the drawbridge slowly lowers.

Does anyone have knowledge:engineering?

Liberty's Edge

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

What do I notice?

JRR Tolkien wrote:

*shiver*

Liberty's Edge

Not affected, due to my being Undead.

Sovereign Court

Nesod: That bridge is in pretty bad shape, It looks like you might be able to cross one at a time

Alissa: Indeed!

I stand studying the gunk and green stuff in the moat. Does there seem to be a green slime infestation? Or even green jellies, citrine jellies, certain species of stunjelly can be green...?

Sovereign Court

Jenny: why don't you make a knowledge slime check

Yawns deep and wide as the drawbridge is lowered. The sudden rush of air into his lungs and throat mutes the screeching sound.

Perception Check, see if anything is amiss.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

I was expecting something more grandiose....

Knowledge (slime): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

Lucky you.

Sovereign Court

AMS: you notice a light source in one of the upper level windows

Jenny: This moat is infected with good old fashioned first edition green slime.

"Ooooooooh, guys! Smell that? The stuff down there is green slime. From what I can tell, it's in the synrrhexic phase right now. It's fascinating... Did you know that if two or more colonies of green slime come into contact, they synchronize their phases?"

*Fascinating

Sovereign Court

Jenny: As you are explaining the finer points of slime synchronization to the party the drawbridge finishes it's journey and comes to rest on the ground.

Across the way you all see a group of 4 or 5 armored individuals gathered in the opening of the entranceway of what appears to be a fairly well lit courtyard.

You can see that they have their hands on their swords and and at least 2 have bows, although you cannot make out their faces in the shadows.

"If you wish to meet with Lord Balamos, you must surrender your weapons at the door, They will be returned to you upon your departure"

And have you attack us with no way to defend ourselves.

I think not.

Sovereign Court

"I assure you, no harm will come to you whilst you are on the demenses of Lord Balamor"

Ever hear of The Red Wedding?

I keep my weapons.

Liberty's Edge

"Would you have an old man give up his walking staff?"

1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33

Do I get a bonus for a LOTR reference?

Sovereign Court

Alissa: "I do not know of this red wedding you speak of, however you are welcome to stay outside in the rain if you wish.

Nesod: "No I would never do that too an old man.... for you however the staff will have to be surrenderd.

Nice try

????????

Red Wedding?
