Rogue Eidolon's right, though I'm still pretty sure it's also in the old RotRL guide or something. I might just be losing my mind even more, though...

I don't think so, but your pronunciation is the one that makes more sense linguistically. There are people in high places who like it enough better to use it over zkar-nee anyway. Similarly, the iconic cleric, actually pronounced kie-ra (first syllable rhymes with die) is often pronounced kee-ra (first syllable rhymes with key).

The correct pronunciation is, in fact, "throatwarbler mangrove". ;)

Shoot, Bubba ain't shure how to say "Anbabms". But Bubba's always gonna help get stuff done fer the boss.
Yeah! Me and Hubba Bubba are great Zarniests. We zarny-it-up all the time. Besides what's the point of a name? Some scaredy-spear once said a Gnome calleded by any other name would still be the awesomerest!

Hubba Bubba? I been called worse, I suppose, but not by anybody still alive. Most people don't stay alive too long when Bubba gets mad.

Reminds me of a joke made about how surprised someone was to learn that the tzar and the czar were the same person.
It might me good to remember that there are different dialect pronunciations of Mafia, each pronouncing the first vowel sound slightly differently, like MAH fee ah vs. MEH fee ah.
Still, in a game, it might be good roleplaying to try to remember the preferred pronunciation, at least when dealing with the organization members. Not a group one wants to tick off.

Man, maybe the people around here are pronunciationally unique.
There's:
"Zar-nee"
The extra syllable version:
"Zar-a-nee"
"C is a vowel" version:
"Skuh-zar-nee"
And the logical Snoop Dogg extension there-of:
"Skizz-arr-nee"
And occasionally the "c is a silent vowel" version:
"Suss-arr-nee" or "Suss-zar-nee"
Sometimes the Z is the silent letter:
"Scar-nee"
Or combining both:
"Suh-car-nee" or "suss-sar-nee"
Depending on whether you want a soft or hard "c" sound.
