Sinbad-esque paladin archetype

Loses:

Spellcraft and Knowledge(Nobility) as class skills
d10 Hit Dice
Proficient with everything but tower shields and exotic weapons
Spellcasting (including UMD substitution abilities)
Divine Grace

Gains:

Survival and Gather Information as class skills
d8 Hit Dice
Good Reflex saves
Proficient with simple weapons + kukri, scimitar, falchion, glaive, shortbow and longbow
Proficient with light armor, light shields and bucklers.
Endurance, Evasion, Imp. Evasion, and combat style feats (as Ranger)
Cha bonus applies as Luck bonus to AC when wearing light or no armor (Smite Evil gives [LV+CHA]x3 Temp HP rather than CHA to AC again)

So, any thoughts?

...kinda goes without saying, doesn't it?

I'm trying to work something up that really goes well with a Suli and the standard pally options just aren't doing it for me.


He means "Why didn't you put this in the Homebrew forum?", but in less words.

Also, when I think "What is Sinbad's class?" Paladin is one of the lowest on the list, just slightly above spellcasters.

He's a Rogue, maybe even a Ranger, but not a Pally. He's like the definition of Chaotic Good or even Chaotic Neutral.


fair enough, I'll try there instead. If I could delete this I would, but such is life.

And the point wasn't 'make Sinbad' it was make a paladin with a more arabian nights sort of flavor.
