Fillable PDF Character Sheet

I've extended my original character sheet to now be a simple fillable PDF form. Let me know if anyone likes it. You can ignore the Pathfinder Society stuff if you don't play any PFS games, the character sheet is still good as a regular character sheet.

No spell sheet yet, I'll work on that later. I've spent 10 hours rearranging tab orders renaming fields because Acrobat X "Professional" (hah!) is an unbelievably horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible piece of software. Automatically reordering my tab orders with no way to turn that off? That's a feature?! I'm just glad my work paid for it and not me. Ugh.

Anyway, here're the character sheets. High Quality and Optimized as usual. HQ just means the logo looks nicer and will print out better. Optimized compresses the logo so it doesn't look as nice.

Made a few minor fixes.

Couple more fixes made after filling one out for my PFS character.

Few more field fixes. If you've downloaded these before, redownload them whenever I make an update.

I like this a lot. I've been looking for a good fillable character sheet that doesn't have auto calculations (because that makes my tablet cry), and the only other decent fillable sheet I've found that meets that requirement is a version of the default sheet (meh).

uhm...gotta ask, is this fillable like i have to print it out and fill it? or can i fill it out while on my computer.

It's a PDF-fillable so you can fill it out on your computer and print it OR if you rather do it by hand you can print it and fill it in with a pen/pencil.

Both w01fe01. :3

ok, when i open them, i cant fill them out, or do i have to download them or something

olePigeon, looking good dude! I'll give it a whirl and see if it works out for me. I might keep the original PDF character sheet just to do a few of the calculations for me, and just copy over all of the outcomes on to this one.

It opens in Chrome just fine for me. I can edit and save with whatever changes. I can also open it up after downloading and make changes.

Download it first w01fe01.

doh, ya downloaded it, sorry, really not used to pdf files.

Looks very nice from initial inspection. Nice and fresh using the new logo and having the options for PFS options.

Certainty need a section for spells, and I've never seen it done quite right yet, but look forward to see what you come up with.

I've been using the "Little Mars Pathfinder Character Sheet" but found it has a bunch of issues with the tab order. Check out what it does for it's spells.

One thing that might stop me from using it, is I like to detail my characters abilities for feats for reference, rather then having to look up the book all the time. So you might want to have a optional section in there.

Thanks for the comments and feedback. When I make the spell sheet, I think the reverse side of it will be a "journal" for extended character background, notes, and information. You can then put any additional information in there including expanded info on abilities and feats.

In regards to tab order, Adobe has made it exceedingly difficult in recent versions. Acrobat X Pro is just a horrible, horrible, horrible program. I'm just glad I got it through work and didn't have to pay for it. What a piece of crap.

Are you doing this all on Acrobat or on InDesign?

I made the character sheet in Illustrator, then added the form via Acrobat.

Before I get down and start making a form for hours on end, what do people think of the spell sheet and misc info sheet?

The misc info will just be some fillable category areas that you can name yourself, and open text fields in each category where you can write in whatever you want.

Misc Sheet

Liberty's Edge

The Spell Sheets is nice. The Misc Sheet... well, a blank paper can achieve the same.

Yes the spell sheet is nice.

@Corsario: The Misc Sheet is so pedantic people like myself can type things in instead of writing them ;)

Wasn't quite sure what to do with the misc sheet. Was talking to my bother, and what I think I'll do is basically make more Feats/Abilities area in the top half, then a Henchmen/Cohort area below.

yeah i totally understand that. I've posted up on my blog screen shots of the original pdf editable sheet I used back in 3.5. Unfortunately the guy never made a pathfinder version, but hopefully should give you some idea of what to do.

olePigeon, have you made the Spell Page a form? I really dig your character sheet, was bummed when I realized there was no place for spells.

I was just wondering this myself. Have u done any more work olePigeon

Dot dot dot.

Necro bump?

Sorry. I totally forgot about this. These are fillable PDF forms, except for the spell and inventory. Sorry. I got so frustrated with Adobe Acrobat Pro that I put it on the back burner for so long. I now hate that program with a passion. What a piece of crap. I feel so sorry for anyone who makes PDF forms for a living.

Working on the Spell Sheet form. I'll upload it soon.

And here's the spell sheet in Form version:

The Spaceballs character sheet is my new favorite. :)

That should be Year of the Demon, not Year of the Dragon. Oops.
