12+ Group for Con Special Still Needs a Few Players

PaizoCon General Discussion

I've been led to believe that the chances of one playing one of the 12+ sub-tiers of the convention special are better, though not guaranteed, if one has a full group of six ready to fill such a table come muster.

In the hope that this is true, I'm trying to gather six willing and eligible players in anticipation of mustering together for one of the tables running one of the 12+ sub-tiers.

So far, we have:
The Earl of Gray Park - Magus 12/Rogue 3
Marc Reynolds - Cleric 13
Deidre Tiriel - Bard 14

We're looking for three more players to join us. If interested, please post here.

Liberty's Edge

Albert Cohen is also in. He's got a level 14 Dragon Disciple (heavy hitter)

A Paladin and a Sorcerer would be nice :P

With the opening of the con just a week away now, we're still looking for two available and willing players (able to legally play the 14-15 sub-tier) to join the above mentioned four players for Friday night's convention special.

Having a pre-mustered group of six such players should increase (but not guarantee) our chances of actually being seated together at a sub-tier 14-15 table

Now I am really torn about what tier to play for the special. I can either run with my 11th level Magus on the 10-11 tier or my 13.2 Ranger/Rogue for the 12+.
The idea of retiring another character with one of the big special events always appeals to me but getting one more chance to play my VC feral Ranger is appealing.

I'm not sure which will be more fun but I am very interested.

I am torn like Mathwei.

I will most likely play my 13.2 Inquisitor/monk, but i haven't fully decided.

Mathwei and Uktabi, we'd love to have you join us; just let us know ASAP and we'll add you to the list and get you on our email list.

I may bump my archer bard up with AP credit. I could hit 14.

We've found a fifth.

The group is now:
The Earl of Gray Park - Magus 12/Rogue 3
Marc Reynolds - Cleric 13
Deidre Tiriel - Bard 14
Albert Cohen - Dragon Disciple 14
Ryan Kruger - Rogue 14

Our APL currently stands at 14, which puts us solidly in the 14-15 sub-tier.

We're looking for one more.

John, if you'd like to be added to the list, please let us know ASAP. We've had interest from four other players, but only one spot left.

I am bringing a lvl 15 archer and my buddy has a lvl 15 cleric.

Shadow Lodge

I can't wait to see what kind of party I get at Gen Con.

Unfortunately, John, we only have one spot left. I'm more than happy to give it to you, though.

Or maybe I should sit this one out to let John and his buddy play. ;-)

I'm late to the party, for certain, but I have my eldritch knight. It would give me an incentive to do some shopping on that PC, because he has 45k of floating wealth right now.

I should be considered an alternate at best; there is a part of me that would rather play my alchemist or my paladin at lower tiers and apply the GM credit from Gen Con to my EK. However, Filraen has few play opportunities left. If you still have five on-site, scrounge me up and I'll dust off his Excel sheet.

I'm John's Cleric Buddy, I've got a 15th level Evangelist Cleric.

It sounds like we have enough for two tables, can they run a second high tier table?

I should hope so, as I'm part of a group of 3 of 13+ players. 14 Dragon Disciple, 13.2 Witch and 13.2 Cleric (me)

OK, sounds like we have enough for two tables. I took a look at signups, and I think we could make two groups.

Table 1:
Earl of Gray Park - Magus 12/Rogue 3
John Spaulding - Archer 15
Benchk the Nightstalker - Cleric 15
Mattastrophic - Bard 8/Dragon Disciple 4/Barbarian 3
Ryan Blomquist - Fighter 1/Wizard 8/Eldritch Knight 6 (15)
Albert Cohen - Dragon Disciple 14

Table 2:
Marc Reynolds - Cleric 13
Diedre Tiriel - Bard 14
Ryan Kruger - Rogue 14
Anna Murray - Cleric 13
Anna's +1 - Dragon Disciple 14
Anna's Other +1 - Witch 13

In mustering these, I tried to keep the 12-13s together and not separate Anna and her two +1s. Thoughts?

I believe Marc and Albert are together, so maybe switch Deidre or Ryan for Albert. Also, Marc has been working with the first group of six via email, so check with him to see how he feels about this shuffling to make two tables?

Other than that, I'm in with this plan.

OK, with Graypark's input:

Table 1:
Earl of Gray Park - Magus 12/Rogue 3
John Spaulding - Archer 15
Benchk the Nightstalker - Cleric 15
Mattastrophic - Bard 8/Dragon Disciple 4/Barbarian 3
Ryan Blomquist - Fighter 1/Wizard 8/Eldritch Knight 6 (15)
Diedre Tiriel - Bard 14

Table 2:
Marc Reynolds - Cleric 13
Albert Cohen - Dragon Disciple 14
Ryan Kruger - Rogue 14
Anna Murray - Cleric 13
Anna's +1 - Dragon Disciple 14
Anna's Other +1 - Witch 13

I have no access to any email exchanges between others interested in high level play; if any coordination has already rendered my work moot, let me know and I'll drop it. I'm just working with what is present in the public thread.
