This belt's wearer gains a +4 bonus to all poisons and a +2 bonus on Escape Artist checks. In addition, once per day on command, the belt can be animated as a venomous snake or constrictor snake that obeys the animator's spoken commands for up to an hour. If the animated snake is slain or moves 100 feet away from the animator, the snake reverts into belt form.
I think this means a +4 to save against poisons, but it is not written well.
FAQ please..:)

That's hardly a frequent question. Counter-question: does any other interpretation than yours seem like it could be right?
I am sure most of us know what the intent it, but a rule written this badly still needs to be clarified since it really could be a +4 to craft poisons, even though I am 99% sure that is not it.
PS:It is not at the top of my FAQ list, but it should get fixed.

It may not be an FAQ, but the author proposed it as an errata, and as the errata and FAQ system are intertwined around here, using the FAQ option is the way to promote the errata.

I'm not the most experienced player, but do resist poison spells/items typically use the phrasing "all poisons"? Perhaps this item WAS intended to do something more than simply add poison saves? It would be a one of a kind if it increased the DC of your poisons, but perhaps overpowered for it's price if the person had a steady supply of poisons?

If an item is made to resist poisons it will say +4 bonus to saves vs poisons. That way you know that if you are poisoned you get a +4, and that would apply against any poison.
The DC of a poison is also determined by the monster, or the poison list in the book. If you crafted your own poisons it would say crafted poisons had a DC increase.
The fact that nobody can say with 100% certainty what the intent is, is why I am asking for an FAQ so they can errata it. :)
