Seeking advice on Arcane Archer build

I'm looking into a good build for an AA. So far I can deal wicked high damage with my Fighter 6/Sorc 1 (Lv7) but I saw a Wiz 5/ EK3 / Fighter 1 / AA 1 (Lv10) build that has all the awesome area spells for imbue arrow later on.

I'm making a Lv9 character, and i need advice on how to build up an awesome AA.

Well, you can get to AA until level 8. So you will be a second level AA at ninth with first level spells.

You are still going to have to wait to get the awesome area spells. Actually, the build you site above gets you to those spells much quicker that F6 /Acrane Caster 1/ AA X

Actually, the build above will get you imbued arrows at 12 and, further, at 12th level you will be a 7th level caster.

The way i built mine was Fighter 6/Wizard 4/ AA 10.

The way it worked out was that by the time i was able to put a fireball on an arrow was right when i hit Level 13. That's just me though.

As for feats i loaded up on combat specific feats for my bow until my first level of wizard. Then i started taking magic based feats. Really its all up to you how you build it. This is just how i built mine.

STR 16
DEX 20
CON 14
INT 16
WIS 12
CHA 12

Helf-elf (+2 went into dex)

1st level feats
Point-Blank Shot
Precise Shot

2nd
Rapid Shot

3rd
Weapon Focus

4th
Weapon Spec

5th
Deadly Aim

6th
Many-Shot

7 First Level of Wizard
Clustered Shot

9th
Craft Wonderous

11th
Craft Arms & Armor

13th
Mounted Combat

15th
Mounted Archery

17th
Leadership

19th
Improved Precise Shot

Now the feats that i used past Level 11 weren't part of my original game plan but when you get a flying mount, and you need to build an army, to fight an ancient evil, sometimes you need to alter your feat tree to meet the need. But hey it was an excellent campaign. Anyway, i'm not sure if this actually helped or not. You could probably ignore level 11 and up for my build but that is what i did. I had planned on taking metamagic feats in place of the ones i have but you know how it goes.

Fighter 1/Wiz 5/EK 3/AA 4/EK 7 is caster 17, BAB 17 and very versatile, its the caster option.

Fighter 6/Wiz 1/AA 10/EK 3 or Fighter 3 is more martial but comes to BAB 19 but suffers with caster 8 or 10

Bother can be fun, but I think most would agree that the first brings more to the table

i'm a noob, whats up with the 2 ek ranks?

Why not straight Magus (Myrmidarch) into AA? Full caster progression, Ranged Spellstrike, Weapon Training (qualifying you for dueling gloves), fighter training, and armor training, not to mention a number of useful arcana. Arcane Pool also synergizes well with the Enhanced Arrows, letting you add an absurd number of properties to your weapon.

thanks for the tips, i've decided to stay with my fighter 6 but im torn between wizard 5 and aa9 or wizard4 aa10.

Don't build for the future - build for the now. Right now you're pretty boring in combat, stand there and PEWPEW with your arrows, even when it is to murder your cleric buddy in the back ;)

Try and come up with a build YOU will find fun, a healthy mix of casting and archery.
