Ladies and Gentlemen (and Goblins) of Pathfinder,

Gobbocast apologizes for the wait for our latest episode, number 10, where multiple members of the community speak their mind on the Developer Interview conducted by Gobbocast in Episode 9.

In Episode 10, several members of the community imparted their wisdom on the revelations gifted to us from on high at GW HQ.

Areks and Krow was pleased to host:

Bluddwolf, Spokesperson of the UnNamed Company
Deacon Wulf, Crimson Commander of the Crimson Guard
Hobs (as Himself!)
Nihimon Vhane’Sylvan, Steward of the Seventh Veil
Rawn, Architect of Pax Gaming

Please listen in on Episode 10 to what these community members had to say!

(To those patient fans who awaited the release of Episode 10, let me personally apologize. I am a talker, a theorist and sometimes a writer; I have never nor will I ever consider myself an editor. Next time I'll leave this in the fine hands of the Gobbocast Team ;) )

Great job again guys! Awesome roundtable and choice of cast members. Great comments and interesting opinions all around.

Thank you to all for a great listen.

Long one! But some really insightful comments.
What I took away from the podcast:
I should try to make every post contribute as much as it can, while keeping it easy to digest.
Start thinking about a serious character concept I can role play well and have fun with for years in PFO.
Start making some personal notes on pragmatic ideas for the combat system with the upcoming pit fighter demo, for later crowd forging.

Once again, a fun and thoughtful conversation.

It is always a pleasure to get the "Bandit's" point of view out there. My company members and I are really excited about how PFO is shaping up.

Hearing the Podcast for the first time, since it was recorded, I was reminded of the question concerning role playing.

This being a sandbox MMORPG, and its lineage being Pathfinder TT, I really do agree that RP has to be a major feature in PFO. GW will do itself very proud if it can pick up the mantel that SWG / LOTRO has passed on.

RP is more than just sitting in chairs and having a few social emotes. It would be nice if there were a few systems (Music, entertainment, theater, poetry readings, etc.)

Yes, I know, "resources, resources, resources...", but this would be another "great to have" down the road a bit.

I know this might be a bit cumbersome for paizo, but I think it would be awesome to see Adventure Paths and modules based on the game. I know it may enter the lore, but to be able to go down the same path in a TT setting is a different experience than reading about an occurance.

Thanks again, interesting discussion. I agree the specialisms seems to be a promising direction for eg leadership. This way there are lots of potentially diverse characters in the game which makes for a fascinating and deep gameplay experience, I guess?

Thanks Areks for the mention much appreciated. :)
