Qinggong Monk - Dexterity Build - Advice

Doesn't look too bad. I might take Barkskin at 4th rather than wait, but that will largely depend on how your campaign plays out. If you're getting hit a lot still, then take it early. If you are not getting hit much, then you can wait.

Personally, I also like Medusa's Wrath first chance you get, though again it depends a lot on party make up and how combat typically goes. Unless you have another tripper in the party, I'm not sure its worth it to take Vicious Stomp before Improved Trip. How often is it going to proc for you before you can afford to Imp. Trip? Again, a lot of this depends on party composition and what the rest of the party can do. BTW, Agile Maneuvers might be good as you are Dex based and want to trip.

As for Qinggong powers: RESTORATION! You don't need the material components and it relieves some of the stress from the healer. Finally, hopefully you won't need Mobility at level 13 if you keep your Acrobatics up every level, just tumble around everyone. Perhaps Weapon Focus instead? Hit more often means more damage. Obviously, all of these are really just a matter of how the campaign progresses. If you always make your acrobatics checks, then you know you don't need to take Mobility, if you keep generating AoO's though, then yeah, you probably should.

I would say that you want as much enhancement bonus on your AoMF as you can, along with agile, so you can turn that high dex into more flat damage bonus. However, the AoMF is capped at +5 total bonus which makes it less than awesome compared to a magic temple sword.

Although, it all depends on how your campaign goes, and how prevalent your GM makes monk specific items. Just remember that attack bonuses are few and far between, and with a monk's many attacks they of higher value than a lot of damage bonuses.

A monk's "damage feature" (examples Favored Enemy, Smite, etc) IS there extra attacks, which in turn contributes to the image that they can't hit. If you are rolling more attacks with less attack bonus, you might average the same damage but it feels like you miss an etra 20% of the time, which can be frustrating. If you can push your attack bonus up more by investing it more than most, you can help prop up your monk's "damage feature" and feel like your monks really is using a flurry of "Blows".

Be careful with your bonuses to DEX both your belt and Ioun stone provide enhancement bonus to DEX and do not stack.

Well at first I was strolling around like a boss with Mage Armor scrolls being thrown on me by our Wizard... but the DM pointed out we were doing those wrong. Apparently, it uses his spell slot FOR THE DAY(or until the next 8 hour rest) AND takes two hours to craft... Now it'll take a roll of 15 ish to hit me instead of 18 ish :(
I was thinking the same thing with Barkskin. I think I'll switch that around. Good idea :3 Since I'll carry a Kama, I can drop it if I screw up on a trip attempt. My CMD is at 23 overall, and 27 vs trip/bullrush. Should be good on it's own.

The main reason it's worth it -> Think of it this way, you sub a trip in for FoB. That loses one attack. In a sense, you get that attack back with VS. Still getting that +4 bonus to attack too. We have a Rogue, Cleric, Magus, Wizard in our group aside from me. I think they'll daze/prone/stun stuff often? >.> I'm not sure how they function aside from damage haha. Okay I'll consider it for sure!

The primary means to Mobility is to make people swing at me so I can retort with Snake Fang. However, I could swap that out with Disorienting Maneuvers and tumble through stuff... then get that bonus to hit and trip :3 My character is rather fond of doing cartwheels; especially across rickety old rope bridges.
Restoration... I was greatly debating. I'd like to bring SOMETHING to the party lol. Ah shucks. Good recommendations man.

I certainly will. That's why I'm hoping to acquire all of the attack bonus items I listed first... if it happens that way of course.

I'm confused about the temple sword. Does it go higher than +5?

Not higher than +5 enhancement, but it can have up to an additional +5 in special abilities.

Oh and the Amulet only goes to +5 total?

correct.
