Tweaking Sorcerer Bloodlines?

Hi, folks! First official post here.

For grins and giggles I am building a 1st level Human Sorcerer with the Aberration Bloodline. While I love 95% of the angle of the character (including the various little add-ons and bonuses), I'm not a huge fan of Enlarge Person as his 3rd level Bloodline spell. Would it affect play balance too terribly to swap out Enlarge Person for another 3rd level Transmutation school spell, Expeditious Retreat? I see this guy as having the ability to personally enhance his movement to get where he needs to go.

For that matter, in any instance of Bloodline spells, so long as you stay within the School, how does swapping out certain spells affect play balance, I wonder?

I know not all spells are created equally, but in the case I outline above, it does not seem so unbalancing. In reality, Enlarge Person is more powerful than Expeditious Retreat because I could cast it on another party member, but I see the character's magic as focusing more on himself and his own Aberrant heritage. I see this manifesting as unnaturally long legs and arms that enhance his movement.

Curious to here what folks think!

It's a home-brew modification. Allowing this is only a question that the GM of the game can answer.

It would not be unbalancing to swap out Enlarge Person for Expeditious Retreat. Flavor-wise, it makes sense in this case to approve of it as well.

I think this should be addressed on a case by case basis rather than implementing a blanket rule swapping out spells as proposed.

Thanks! If I ever get the chance to play this PC, I am sure I can sweet talk my GM into allowing the swap!
