New preview is up and ready for YOU!

The hits just keep on coming from Legendary Games!

Well, that horseman (goatman?) in the preview art looks nice and menacing.

I think people will enjoy the sort of retro art style for some of our Kingbreaker products, including this one.

The only way I could enjoy it more is if you'd actually hired Erol Otus. :D

(Or Bill Willingham, but I expect he's way more expensive than he used to be.)

+1 Billion to this.

Tru dat. No school like the old school. Sprinkle a little Jim Roslof in there too, with a chaser of Tramp!

...if anyone could actually track Dave Trampier down and talk him into at least finishing Wormy, I would give them ALL THE MONEY.

You may or may not have seen the story online somewhere about a guy who tracked him down in Carbondale, Illinois, where he was working as a cabbie and evidently wanted nothing to do with his former professional life as a fantasy artist. I'm sure if you do a search for "Dave Trampier, cab drive, Carbondale" or something like that, you'll probably find it.

For good or bad (bad for us the fans, hopefully good for him and whatever his situation may be), it seems our wishes for Wormy will forever be in vain. :(

Yeah, I've heard. Apparently a result of TSR treating him quite poorly. :(

Horns of the Hunted is now in final layout - with a special sneak peek gaming session at PaizoCon this Saturday! The wait is almost over! Check it out.

What is Kingbreaker? Is it related to Kingmaker?

Yes. It is essentially Kingmaker, but they use Kingbreaker as a stand in name in order not to infringe on protected content.

Funny, we figured it might be fun to use a rhyming name for the word we use for your favorite Kingdom-Building Adventure Path (instead of the "Gothic AP" and the "Far East AP"), but this isn't the first time it's caused confusion. Perhaps we should just call it "Kingdom-Building AP." Boring perhaps, but maybe more clear as well.

Perhaps the in-joke is less obvious if English isn't your first language.

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4; Contributor; Publisher, Legendary Games

Entirely possible. I'm sure it only rhymes in English. It was an idea, and not every idea turns out to be a good one. Live and learn.

In any event, this adventure for the Kingdom-Building AP should be out around the end of next week. We had brought on a new layout person to work on it and some other things, but he ended up having to drop out due to illness so the adventure got put back into Tim's queue. Apologies for the delay, but things are back on track now. Looking forward to seeing it and sharing it with everybody!

Can't wait for Horns of the Hunted!

I am eagerly awaiting this adventure as well. My players loved Cold Mountain.

Glad you guys are looking forward to it. The current release schedule looks like Faerie Passions this Friday and Horns of the Hunted next Friday, and possibly getting something with a big BOOM by the end of the month!

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4; Contributor; Publisher, Legendary Games

It was a long time coming, but it is finally ready for you!

HORNS OF THE HUNTED IS NOW AVAILABLE exclusively from Legendary Games, and later this week in wide release, including right here at Paizo.com!

...You guys designed it for six characters going in! YOU ARE AWESOME. :D

Congratulations to Mr. Goodall on a nifty piece indeed.

It was designed for six characters right off the bat? Thanks for doing that, LG.

We aim to please, and it ALSO has scaling notes for rolling the adventure back down to 4 PCs just in case that's the way you roll. Leave no need untended!

And available now in wide release right here on Paizo.com (as soon as it goes through approvals tomorrow morning when Liz & Co. are in the office) and on d20pfsrd and DrivethruRPG, as well as the Legendary Games website of course!

I know you people are probably up to your eyeballs in work already, but what is this 'Days of Wine and Roses' mentioned in the module? I'm guessing it'll be something about how to run tournaments in Pathfinder?

That is correct. It's been on my "to-do" list since the spring, and I've finally managed to clear the decks enough that it's come back up for air. Finish Ultimate War and a couple of mythic monsters left on my plate, and Days of Wine and Roses will be next. Frank Hessefort is already on board for the artwork. It's gonna be very cool.

I find myself in need of player-friendly versions of the maps -- is it possible, in particular, to have a no-pits version of Autumnal Dusk?

Bump?

Has the Days of Wine and Roses ever been finished?
