Hej everybody!

With my head in my pdfs, I almost didn't notice - it's this time of the year again, when humble me takes a short, goth-related vacation to Leipzig.

I'll return on Tuesday and reviewing duties will commence as usual - with a bang and 5 new ones and me hopefully motivated as heck.

That being said, I didn't want you guys to have no new reviews, so I dug in my pile and took 4 drafts of very good, appropriately dark-themed pdfs and posted them on my site.

Furthermore, I'd like to draw your attention to a worthy cause: Christina Stiles spearheads an indiegogo-campaign to get writers to Gen Con - and yes, grandmaster crunch Owen K.C. Stephens is part of the group. Oh, and humble ole' me is a stretch-goal.

So if you ever wanted to punch me in the face for shredding your products, buy me a drink, talk to me about design, riddle me with questions on the world of 3pps or campaigns, on my house-rules, character-deaths madness-system etc. - this might make exactly that possible.

Oh, and I actually have a seal and way, so if you really want a real life seal of approval, I'd bring that along. :)

Thanks for the attention, ladies and gentlemen, I'll see you on Tuesday (and possibly at Gencon)!

Endzeitgeist out.

Given the continental traip getting you to Gen Con would be, what kind of budget would you realistically need? What stretch goal number are we looking at?

I won't lie, it's quite a lot - and I told Christina I wouldn't want e.g. two other candidates have to not go just to fly me in. Hence, I might be considered the final stretch-goal, I guess.

If I take a cheap flight, we'd still be talking ~ $1700 for the flight + hotel. And I'd still be paying for hotel costs and food as much as I can realistically pay, i.e. about $400.

Thanks for asking!

We won't lie, it's close to 2K to get Thilo over here. However, where there is a will, there is a way. We just need a lot of gamers to buy in. Thilo and Joshua have both done a tremendous amount of work over the past few years--work out of sheer love. Yes, they get some cool free stuff, but that's A LOT of work, even for free stuff. They have my TOTAL admiration!!!!

Aww man, it's going to take over a week before my new book gets reviewed? I gotta find a way to cancel that festival!

Kidding man. Hope you have fun at it. I recall hearing that the last one was a blast.

Will, I don't even have the Apeiron Staves yet, but as soon as I have them and get back, I'll check them out! :)

The 5 new ones look good. Nice to see you tagging ;-D (Though that means I'm out of a job!)

Thilo, getting you here would make the cost worth it my friend, it would be truly awesome to toast a drink with you my friend, and yeah, I am thinking I no there would be some folks wanting to get your official stamp of approval lol.

And I am going on the record here stating it, regardless I have ever done as a reviewer, at the end of the day, there's only one true reviewer in my opinion for this community. Thilo has built what can only be called an immensely impressive library of material. His reviews have led many of us through the marketplace in finding treasures we may have never known, helped us avoid products that were perhaps not so stellar, and been there with advice and thoughts for the publishers and designers to make sure they continue to grow and learn. He has improved the face of 3PP in ways that have changed for ever how we look at these products.
