The Great Superhero Challenge!

Homebrew and House Rules

Hello all.

I am designing a game (using paizo books) that is essentially going to be set in modern times, but will feature a war amongst various super heroes. The Pc's will start as people just discovering their powers and find their way into a world of deceit and power. So my challenge to you is giving me as many ideas for heroes or villains as possible. All races and books are viable although I'd like as many to be human as possible.

My concepts so far are:

Mr. X and Minion Man: A lvl 15 Vivesectionist/Kensei/Arcane Trickster and a Lvl 15 Arcane deulist

The King of Men: An Imperious Sorcerer

The Club Of Darkness: Avatars of the 4 Horsemen (with the added twist that pestilence, famine, and war discovered a way to actually enslave death who is a lvl 20 Advanced Lich Cleric)

Mustache Man: White-Haired Witch

Thanks in advance for any ideas! Have fun!

Liberty's Edge

Battle Demon - Tiefling Barbarian with Eldritch Heritage: Abyssal

I'm thinking an Arcane Archer would be a good hero too. Zen archer/empyreal Sorc maybe. Heaven's Arrow.

Thunder Lord: Invunerable rager with storm born eldritch heritage
Shadow dancer/ ninja: Nightcrawler
Banshee: sound striker/ dervish of dawn bard
Any kind of wild shaped Druid
A synthesis summoner
A magus/monk for some pretty sick touch and explode madness
Gunslinger/ ninja or rogue (maybe even a bit of shadow dancer here as well.
Barbarian/ alchemist for your insano brute
A weather focused witch with the flight hex
A hexcrafter magus focused on necromancy spells

Anything in particular?

The Exterminator - Blight Druid

hmmmmm.
Rakasha sorcerer- Lex Luthor esquire (82 bluff by level 10!)
Synthesist with large and huge evolutions and perm enlarge person- The collassal!
2 weapon gunslinger wielding 2 shotguns (yes shotguns)- the Boomstick Baby
thug/cavaleer- Terror incarnate
assamar oracle of fire with favored class bonus going into form of flame- Dormammu, or the human torch
Internal psychonaut mindchemist- The Brain
beadrock sorcerer with create construct feats- The earth guardian, wears stone construct armour, glides through the earth and chock full of DR and resistances/immunitys
Creation wizard focusing on animate object and craft construct- The tinkerer
Thrallheard (psionics)- The dominator, The BBEG with lots of minions
Check out all the prestiege classes, there are so many you should be able to find something that looks cool.

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16

The Flash - http://www.dndsheets.net/view.php?id=28821

half-elf (vengeance)paladin 3 / (MoMS)monk 3 / (synthesist) summoner X

by day, he is an unassuming salaryman.
but when evil arrives, he assumes his true form--The Masked Rider!

traits/feats somethign like:
traits:
magical knack
reactionary

feats:
1 - improved Initiative
1* - janni style
2* - janni rush
3 - monastic legacy
5 - dragon style
7 - dragon ferocity
9 - vital strike

grab monastic legacy + monk's robe, and get dragon and janni styles with MoMS. execute the RIDER KICK via smite + vital strike + janni rush (dragon style adds damage and gets rid of that pesky rough terrain problem for charging)

.

note: not actually sure the rider kick is valid, due to charging (janni rush) and vital strike weirdness.

Nope.

Vital strike is a standard action. charging is a full round action.

Its generally not that overpowered and some people houserule that you can vital strike on any single attack like a charge or AOO. Makes vital more inviting.
It can, however, be abused if allowed.
The feat Furious Finish works off of vital strike and lances can deal triple damage while mounted and charging.
all damage dice maximized then tripled is... a little to strong... <.<
Especially considering vital strike lets you roll your damage die up to 4 times.
And you can get it around level 7.

I built a alchemist named bombshot who focuses on the explosive missile discovery.

I got a fond spot for the goblin alchemist firing rocket propelled inferno bombs into crowds and laughs mainically >:D
Imolation bombs is another fun one, especially since there seems to be nothing that prevents them from stacking ^•^
