I make it 240' without penalty.
Far Shot (Combat)
You are more accurate at longer ranges.
Prerequisites: Point-Blank Shot.
Benefit: You only suffer a –1 penalty per full range increment between you and your target when using a ranged weapon.
Normal: You suffer a –2 penalty per full range increment between you and your target.
Arc Slinger (Combat)
You can twirl your sling in a way that maximizes its effectiveness.
Prerequisites: Point-Blank Shot, proficient with sling or halfling sling staff.
Benefit: When using a sling or sling staff, you reduce your penalty on ranged attack rolls due to range by 2. Point-Blank Shot's damage bonus applies within the first normal range increment of your sling (50 feet) or sling staff (80 feet).

How are you reducing the penalties that much?

Far shot halves penalties to -1 per range increment. Arc slinger reduces penalties by 2. So at max increments it is a -20 without any feats. Far shot reduces that to -10. Then you apply arc slinger for a total of a -8 to hit. Unless i read that totally wrong.

The wording of the feat implies that you reduce your cumulative penalty, not the penalty per range increment.
So, here is how it would break down:
0-80 ft: -0 (0 mod reduce by two to get 0)
85-160 ft: -0 (-1 mod reduce by two to get 0)
165-240 ft: -0 (-2 mod reduce by two to get 0)
245-320 ft: -1 (-3 mod reduce by two to get -1)
etc.
Still, taking a shot out to 240 ft without any range penalty is pretty sweet.

No, it's just -7 at 800 feet (I think you forgot that the first range increment is no penalty so the last one is normally -18, not -20):

More accurately:
Up to 80 feet: -0
Up to 160 feet: -0
Up to 240 feet: -0
Up to 320 feet: -1
Up to 400 feet: -2
Up to 480 feet: -3
Up to 560 feet: -4
Up to 640 feet: -5
Up to 720 feet: -6
Up to 800 feet: -7
