I blame Cosmo for my nephew hitting me in the mouth with one of his toys giving me a fat lip and a severely chipped tooth.

I also blame Cosmo for the chipped tooth being bad enough it's likely I'll have to have it pulled.

Perhaps this is related to the 5 posts prior to yours.

Or Cosmo.

I, on the other hand, applaud him for that. That doesn't mean I have forgiven his other transgressions (my arm still hurts).

Bananas? And what the heck is Mr. Strickland?

... on second thought, I don't WANT to know.

If COSMO wrote a Module/AP, would we blame him for the lameness or setting the bar too high for the next one?

The problem is COSMO the AP would set the bar so high that it would appear lame for the next 200 years. Then you look back and think, "Man, that was a fun AP" as you sit in Cosmo's afterlife torture room.

Cosmo, there is a line even you should not cross.

Want to make a Last Aibender movie and make it awful? Fine.
Want to make a books series about sparkly vampires? Knock yourself out.
Want to import effeminate pop stars from Canada? Have fun.

But one DOES NOT TAUNT US WITH HOVERBOARDS!!!!

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!?!?!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Hoverboards? Hoverboards?!?! I needed a flying car the other day, and there wasn't a single one to be found. It's 2014! Where are the flying cars already? Cosmo is responsible.

Tels wrote:

As I kid, I tried both roller skates and rollerblades... and repeatedly kept falling on the hard concrete and asphalt, long past when my friends had mastered them.

I managed to learn to "ride" a bike... but again, kept having accidents (including two concussions (that we know of)).

Skateboard... well, that went much worse than the skates.

I tried to learn how to ride both a motorscooter and later a motorcycle... yeah, you can guess how badly that went.

Hell, I'm still pretty clumsy just walking. I stub my toes once or twice a week. I trip on perfectly flat surfaces. Do you know how many automatic doors I've walked into before they sensed I was there?

And now Cosmo, now you taunt me with a f+#*ing hoverboard that you know I will never master... why, Cosmo, why?!

And yes, I have a valid driver's license. That's right, I'm out there a couple times a week piloting 3000+ lbs. of metal and glass and explosive fuel.

The funny thing is, for all the trouble I had with quad-skates and skateboards, I managed to learn to use roller blades just fine. Yeah, I couldn't move two feet without stumbling withe four wheels in a box-shaped arrangement, but put them in a straight line and suddenly I can zip down the road and back.

Or at least, I could back when I was in high school. I grew out of my pair sometime around 10th grade and haven't gone skating since.

But yeah, I could never get the hang of skateboards. Call me back when they have hover boots instead.

I'm so confused. I'm pretty sure Sara Marie just locked the 'Overheard at Paizo' thread to prevent people like me sniping that 5,000th post; which would imply Sara Marie pulled a Cosmo. But Sara Marie can't pull a Cosmo because she's Sara Marie, and Cosmo can't Cosmo Sara Marie because Sara Marie is Sara Marie.

I don't know what's happening!!!

*Sigh* So I opened a drawer to get out a utensil, and it somehow shifted the contents of the cabinet underneath. Out slid my biggest Corningware baking pan, which (of course) hit the bottom corner of the cabinet just so, and promptly shattered. All over my (bare) feet. You know, it turns out that Corningware isn't your ordinary ceramic; it's high-temperature vitrified something-or-other, which I take to mean "glass with a few highly secret patented ingredients in it". It can and did flip razor-sharp shards up in the air, which then rained down end-first into my bare (let's not forget the bare part!) feet. So there I was, at 0-dark-hundred, with a kitchen floor full of glass shards, some of which were stuck in my (bare) feet. Oh, did I mention that this was my biggest Corningware pan? Lots of shards. Hmmm. Do I try to move first and then pull the slivers out, or extract the slivers and then move? And, oh, looky-look, there are more of them stuck in my clothing. Wow. Who knew there were that many slivers in one pan? And the worst part? Our vacuum cleaner is noisy.

Crazy: "I heard something in the middle of the night."

Me: "Yeah, sorry, but I figured you wouldn't want to come down to a kitchen floor full of broken glass."

Crazy: "You have bandaids on your feet."

Me: "Yeah, it turns out glass slivers can really fly. Who knew?"

Oh, Cosmo. Cosmo, Cosmo, Cosmo.

My employer changed things because something went wrong someplace else in the plant. It's made my job so impractical and pushes so much work at me at once as to be impossible, and yet they don't seem to realize that. This was after they moved me from someplace where for once I was somewhat happy and content at what I was doing there. I had my worst performing day at a job I've ever had in my life, and made a lot of mistakes which I almost never do. It was terrible. I'm also not used to be yelled at and having my work called into question, and unless things change it's probably going to start again when I go back to work after this weekend.

They are incompetent enough that it will probably take days, if not longer, before they realized they changed the system to something that just won't work and I have a feeling that the buck is going to get passed to me until then. It's not going to be fun next week.

You did this Cosmo, and I blame you. You just couldn't stand the feeling I might of had a little bit of contentment in my life, could you?

If it has text, that takes precedence.

Hope that helps.

Alternatively, copy-paste a second copy into one folder, then put the original in the other.
