So expeditious retreat was somehow changed to expeditious receipt in my latest Campaign Journal entry. Given that my friend Sean's character is not an accountant, this is quite wrong.

I'm sure Cosmo has been blamed for auto-correct before now, but I think a refresher chorus is warranted. I Blame Cosmo for this!

I Blame Cosmo for people.

After fighting late morning traffic (yes, late morning. As in 10:30 to 11:30. When most people should be where they were supposed to be) and dealing with mass stupidity among the population at the grocery store, Cthulhu cults and Gozer cults suddenly make a lot more sense. :P

I blame Cosmo and Cosmo's Slightly More Evil Twin that more and more people learn to write before learning how to read.

Let's see, in the last 24 hours, I have:

1)Had my car broken into with somebody smashing the window to get in;
2)Turned my ankle on the front step;
3)Had a new medication make me so dizzy I had to come home early from work;
4)Had one of my students basically turn into Zack de la Rocha at the end of "Killing in the Name", for reasons unknown.

Yeah, I'm Kinda sensing Cosmo at work here!

I spent all last weekend making fun of Seattle, and their lack of lettuce and kale during their initial blast of snow.

The blizzard then decided to hit us, so I've spent every day this week cleaning up the foot of snow we got from Seattle

I have only myself to blame.

I also blame Cosmo for Selene's lack of hours at work.

I also also blame Cosmo for me deciding to wear my old sneakers without socks while running errands while my feet were swollen. Those blisters on both pinky toes suck.

A-B-C. A-Always, B-Blame, C-Cosmo. Always blame Cosmo. ALWAYS BLAME COSMO. We're adding a little something to this month's blame contest. As you all know, first prize is a Lamashtan Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of dogslicers. Third prize {holds up alchemist bomb} is you're fired.

While working 32 out of 38 hours this winter I developed a blister as big as my thumb on my big toe.

I took a picture if you ever need to spontaneously throw up.

Last time (the only time, actually) I was at Universal Studios Orlando, we scheduled a spa trip first thing the first morning. I had the whole pedicure + foot soak + exfoliate thing. After that, we had lunch and then started our walking throughout the park. Miles of walking on brand new feet skin was a literal bloody mess by that evening.

I now very belatedly blame Cosmo for us thinking that was a good idea. And drinking all that wine. And those horribly incriminating photos.

I blame Cosmo that Hasbro and Florida retailers are conspiring to sloooooowly dribble out the new Transformers WfC:Siege and Studio Series figures.

I also blame Cosmo that I finally managed to snag a new Siege Soundwave, but he isn't packaged with a cassette-bot, and the separate Ravage & Laserbeak 2-pack still isn't out yet.

I have been trying to buy prescription sunglasses since last Saturday. I have chosen 7 different frames and had each one rejected by the lens techs. Cosmo...why did you make me nearly blind in one eye?

Wearing a patch over each eye is doubly rad.

I'm 44 yrs old. I started wearing glasses in 2nd grade with one real lens and one fake. I switched to a single contact lens in 3rd grade.

At this point my left eye is at -8.75 while my right is a -4.5.

Using the thinnest material available my left lens is about 3/8" thick.

Er... I blame Cosmo that you're having any troubles at all. While the difference is HUGE, any decent glasses place should be able to deal with that.

Says the man at -10.5/-11.75...

Normal glasses, yes, with restrictions on the shape of the frames. Polarized sunglasses also adds "no rimless or semi-rimless frames" to the list of restrictions or "the polarization layer will peel off". The brands the store had available came with their own restrictions on top of that.

Like I said, went through 7 different rejected frames before I ran out of patience and got a refund.

I feel sympathy for you both. Thankfully, my nearsightedness, while significant to me, isn't as bad as either of you.

I do blame Cosmo that no eyeglass crafter/retailer makes prescription glasses mounted in a version of Cyclop's (of the X-Men) visor.
