Blame be unto Cosmo for the idiots who refuse to yield to traffic coming from the left on roundabouts, like they are legally supposed to. Nearly every day I almost hit one of these fools because they decide to pull out right in front of me.

Unfortunately considering what my niece does to family I do not want expose my friends to her.

If she can still do it hog tied and gagged, what ever it is, I am impressed, and a bit disturbed.

I dunno, put her in one of those plastic bubbles that immune-comprimised folks sometimes use, then she is like a hamster in a ball while you are at game. She can move about, but likely can't cause much harm, unless someone lets her outa the ball.

I need to go apologize to Chris for suggesting that...maybe.

{pops head out of hole, blinks at bright Internet sunshine} I blame Cosmo that I now have a pretty good script outline if Netflix and Lemony Snicket ever decide the Baudelaire children need to tangle with Count Olaf's multiple guises as various phone company customer & technical service reps.

He didn't stop at Seattle...all the way north past the 49th to the Fraser Valley too. 8 more inches last night alone!

Don't let His Most Unfortunate's efficiency in delegating stop you from blaming Him though.

Last night our DSL modem lost connection to the ISP's servers around 12AM and couldn't reconnect for over 2-1/2 hours. I blame Cosmo for the queasy stomach and heavy dread as I contemplated having to deal with disappointing/infuriating reps once again... and I blame Cosmo that is probably the new normal for my brain, one more damn thing to worry about.

I also blame Cosmo that this is a piddly, barely significant problem for me to focus on in the face of everything really going wrong with our country.

Be still my aching heart (which I blame Cosmo for) he noticed!

I will supply an update post once we get farther into the campaign, so I can notify everyone of Quentin's descent into madness, and if he gets killed, blows himself up, or goes insane first.

And so I can properly allocate blame where it is due: the Great and Powerful Cosmo. This is especially topical since the only reason for those terrible things to happen is if I or others in the group roll bad enough on our dice, and we all know who to blame for bad dice rolls.

I ordered a textbook online for college course. Still hasn't arrived and class started a week ago. Any bets that it arrives today/tomorrow after breaking down and buying it local at 3x cost.
Anyone?

I blame Cosmo for interfering with USPS delivery.

I blame Cosmo for mercurial weather.

Last week, it snowed a foot and a half, and I spent hours snowblowing at work to clear the sidewalks along our acres of parking lot. This week, it was 65 F, and all but the biggest piles of snow have melted away.

Today, standing by the window, it was deceptively warm in the sunlight, so I went out in shorts *and it was 22 degrees!*

What the what?!

My mother-in-law's cat has that. "Social eating disorder" or something -- cat won't eat unless there's a person there to guard them.

Ours had a rough time of things: Her own kittens drove her out of her former house, so it's understandable that she wants someone guarding her. What's Floyd's story?

My sister got Floyd from a shelter, I believe, for her daughter. Both my sister and her daughter are very grabby with pets. Floyd does not like it so he is always very nervous around anybody that is not me.

There was also the time when my moron sister blamed for pissing on her bed (she hates him because he does not like her so of course it was him and not the other cat) so she cornered him...grabbed him...and Floyd showed her why this is a bad idea to do to him. He stretched both of her arms and bit her hand bad enough it required stitches. It took me forever to coax him back inside.

Welp, part of the usual route I take to and from work is going to be closed starting Monday for construction and utility work. This same street (though a few hundred feet north) was also closed last year for the exact same thing. You'd think the state (yes it was the state who did it last year and are doing it this year) would have taken care of the entire area last year. No, that would take too much sense. And, as usual, there's no estimated date when it will be done. If it's anything like last year I'm guessing 7-8 months for what amounts to a half-mile stretch of road.

Really, Cosmo?

As one who does feral cat rescue, you do NOT screw with the kitty razors, no seriously, don't...

I have actually never been bit or clawed even by the most feral cats we took in...druid levels :)

I do however blame Cosmo for how well trained our outsides cats have my wife and I when it comes to being let in or out.
