I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it. I've been putting together a collection of music for my upcoming RotR game, and I'm looking for any input (either songs or whole albums). So far I have the soundtracks to all three Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit films, Skyrim, Brave, Braveheart, and even the Legend of Zelda. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

There are two companies that i know of that write an produce Roleplaying Music. I met Midnight Syndicate at GENCON. There stuff is awesome. The other is Nox Arcana. Look them both up.

In fact, now that i think about it, Midnight Syndicate actually produced a Roleplaying Music CD licensed to DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS specifically.

Definitely get the D&D set from Midnight Syndicate, I bought it years ago and it's gotten more mileage than anything else I own.
I also use the music CD that came with the Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria Collector's Edition. No idea if there's any way to get that one any more.
The last one I use is the soundtrack for the game Sacred. It's freely available (here), and I highly recommend it.

The D&D Mignight Sindicate
I Have this CD (The bonus track of someone rolling dice and going, "Uh-oh" still makes me laugh.) AND the one they did for Eberron's 3.5 City of Towers book (CD insert).
Both are AWESOME and well worth the price of admission as mood music for about any campaign.
...Actually, sometimes I like to just listen to them while I read, too.

I played the soundtrack to DayZ during the exploration of that one particular part of the Skinsaw Murders.
