Do you use 3rd party material? If so aside from charisma boosting items, the genius guide to runestaves and wyrdwands has rules for implements, which are great for any kind of spell caster

What are the best magic items for a sorcerer?
Pages of Spell Knowledge
1st-level 1,000 gp; 2nd-level 4,000 gp
3rd-level 9,000 gp; 4th-level 16,000 gp
5th-level 25,000 gp; 6th-level 36,000 gp
7th-level 49,000 gp; 8th-level 64,000 gp
9th-level 81,000 gp; Aura strong transmutation; CL 17th; Weight —
This page is covered in densely-worded arcane or divine magical runes. It contains the knowledge of a single arcane or divine spell (chosen by the creator when the item is crafted). If the bearer is a spontaneous spellcaster and has that spell on her class spell list, she may use her spell slots to cast that spell as if it were one of her spells known. A page of spell knowledge is priced based on the spell's cleric or sorcerer/wizard spell level, unless the spell doesn't appear on either of those spell lists, in which case it is based on the highest spell level as it appears on any other spell list. For example, a spell that is on the 4th-level inquisitor list and the 2nd-level paladin list is priced as a 4th-level spell.

Was it ever clarified if you need to actually hold and activate this everytime you want to use it?
It says "the bearer" and that you treat it as a "spell on your known spell list", which would make me think no, but I'm really not sure.

Robe of the Archmagi are generally pretty good for most arcane casters, as long as you can keep your alignment.

Standard caster gear is generally the big ones every character wants (the relevant attribute boosters, cloak of resistance) with lots of useful cheep things (rods of metamagic, pearl/runestone of power,) wands of spells you want to spam (CLW if you invested into UMD, but also utility spells like endure elements that you will be casting a lot or never), and scrolls of really situational spells that are needed when you need them for starters

What?
RotAM are HORRIBLE. For half the cost, you can cast get a rod of extend, cast Mage Armor (even if you need a pearl of power and page of spell knowledge, it's still cheeper. It's optional anyways as AC doesn't means anything by the time you get it and you should be sticking with miss chances or killing the enemy first) and get it last 24+ hours and still have 2 very useful uses of the rod left and get a +5 cloak.
Spell resistance is actually a hinderence to PCs, as it stops you from being buffed, but does little to stop a CR appropriate enemy.
I'm pretty sure there is some cheaper item to replicate the spell resistance pentration too.
