Greetings,
If it's not too late, I would be glad to toss my slender glove into the ring. I'm new to Google Docs, but my character sheet, if everything worked out, should be here. The same information is in the "Paizo people" profile for this avatar, although in a less elegant block of text, and that's also where I've posted some background for my character. I hope all of our responses aren't too exhausting to sort through! ;)

First, thanks for deciding to run this game so that all of leechers, um, I mean, players can enjoy it!
I have a concept for a gnome summoner synthesist that I would really enjoy playing. If you are taking applications on a first come basis I don't think I would have it ready in time, but certainly by this weekend.
About myself:
1. Can post at least 2x/day on weekends (usually more) and at least once/day on weekends. If I know a combat is going on I try to be a little bit more vigilant.
2. I think I'm dedicated to my games. I just recently got into PbP after being tired of not having a group in real life. You can check my aliases for the games I am currently in and my play style.
3. I will admit that I have played RotRL up until 8th level (I think we were in the second book) in real life before I moved away from my group. If this is a problem, please let me know and I will recuse myself. I don't plan to be a party face or scout so I don't think it will intrude too much.
Thanks for your consideration!

I submit a estranged dwarven miner-turned adventurer from Janderhoff. I'll be including a link to a character sheet soon but here is the fluff and crunch for consideration.
I'm able to post twice a day and am avid about RP so I'm hoping this is a game with a heavy amount. I would love to play this classic and look forward to possibly throwing my beard into the fray!

Though the city itself welcomes traders from all over Varisia, a few of the dwarves that call Janderhoff home are as xenophobic and traditional as a greybeard from Highhelm. Eldaghar Sternforge was one such individual and nearly all the members of his clan tended to have the same mindset. His third son, Fofin, proved to be the exception and grew to be an embarrassment in his sire's eyes. When the misunderstood, young dwarf finally walked out from beneath the mountain, his elder neither sighed nor wept.
While certainly not what people would think an outcast among dwarves, Fofin had but one hobby his clan's patriarch thought more than peculiar. He carved small figurines; sculptures exquisitely cut from pieces of stone that he found appealing when chipping away at the walls of Janderhoff's mines. Others of his kind seemed content to toil away beneath the earth, repeating their lives nearly down to the very last detail, one day after another. He thirsted for something different and expressed his yearnings through his carving. This, of course, led to many arguments with his father and in time, the younger dwarf grew callous.
Combat training was another excellent way of expression that he could pool his frustrations into. Most distressing to his trainer, though, was Fofin's unorthodox manner of fighting. Several times, the master reprimanded him for leaving himself open whilst charging head-long into the fray. The young dwarf reasoned that his armor would provide the cover he needed and his companions would make up for everything else. Of course, he was scolded still with old dwarven ideals and told to fight the right way, something he never came to understand.
When he had a chance to break free from the rigorous trappings of the mines, he made his way into the bustling surface side of Janderhoff. Strained and dour when dealing with his own people, he found speaking with outsiders refreshing. Many times he was reported late when called back to work, busy laughing and sharing a pint with Shoanti traders or similar folk he found interesting. Eventually, his mind had to be made up and his choices were placed before him when a confrontation with his father grew far too heated.
The subject of his pastime and refusal to become compliant with his clan's strict traditions were naturally the topics that turned the altercation into an all-out clash as the two shouted until they both hoarse. Gathering up the very few possessions he had, the young dwarf left the mountain halls with resentment practically dripping from his figure. From Janderhoff, he set out into Varisia with little more than his pick and a few provisions to find the life of excitement he had dreamt of for nearly half a century. Determination to prove himself to both his people and hard-hearted father drive him ever farther to make a new name for himself, one that even his clan will recognize.
A deluge left him squatting in the Varisian woodlands with a cold, sniffling and grumbling until the very next day when his sneezing attracted a group of highwaymen. With nothing of worth to be taken, the bandits merely ruffed up the outnumbered dwarf and left. Battered, sick, and more than irritated, his patience was nearly extinguished when he spotted the town in all its glory from atop a nearby hill.
"Sandpoint at last!" the dwarf exclaimed, rushing toward the coastal settlement with a wide grin from beneath his straggly, unkempt beard.

I will be running Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition ....I hope to begin Monday, April 29, 2013 at the latest. If we get applications quick enough we can start sooner.
As you are considering which of these fine characters will be in the game, I wanted to let you know I am still definitely still interested. Just an FYI this weekend I will be going back home for a weekend of RPG's with my old table group. Its a last fling before I move away from the local area in a few weeks, so I probably won't be posting on the boards much if at all from Friday afternoon until Monday morning when I am back on campus. This should not affect anything for your listed start date unless you start earlier. Just wanted to let you know incase you posted questions for me or an earlier start and weren't getting a response.

Hrm.. a goblin seems to have eaten my post...
Anyway this is what it said:
Thanks everyone for the characters and applications. I am going to cut off applications at this point as there are more than enough. I'm sorting through the characters and constructing parties. I'll post something soon on party make ups and we can go from there. I am still doing some prep work on the campaign so at the earliest we won't actually start until Monday Apr 22, but once we get the groups I'll start opening up the discussions so people can do introductions.
If you have any preferences for people you would like to play with let me know so I can try and accommodate. With as many applicants as there are I may run one extra session.

@Ulrich Yeah that is fine, I want to keep them close to PFS legal as it makes it easier on me to manage, but since these characters are effectively you playing a *pregen* as far as the PFS rules go you can still get credit to apply to any one of your level appropriate PFS characters.
If it helps here are the exact details:
Alternatively, if you are participating in the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path with an ongoing group undertaking the entire, six-chapter campaign, you may receive credit for playing the sanctioned portions of the adventure as if you had played a pregenerated character.
In this case, GMs running the Adventure Path are not bound to the rules of the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign (such as 20-point buy, unavailability of hero points, etc.) when running the campaign or the sanctioned portion of the adventure. Pathfinder Society Sanctioned characters and characters from an ongoing Adventure Path campaign may not play in the same adventure.
@Blake Thanks for the heads up, that shouldn't be a problem.

... suddenly now worried about the tale of the incredible shrinking paladin... I think I'm the only one with heals I saw here except for the Cleric of Milani.
Also, GM, my profile here's been updated with a character sheet and some slight tweaks from when I first created it.
edit: well, no heals at level 1... but eventually some minor abilities...

Ok here are the groupings, report to you respective discussion threads when you have the chance. Please post/re-post your reasoning for being in Sandpoint there so the party can discuss if anyone has already met etc. Otherwise I'll be sure to make you all meet :D
Like I noted I still have prep to do so Gameplay will not start until, at the earliest, Mon Apr 22.
I wasn't sure how many requests I would get and the turnout was overwhelming. So we now have 4 groups of six. As such I'm going to run the XP on the slow progression line to balance out party size to the encounters over time.
- Runk - Rogue
- Zizouket - Sorc
- Ethan - Cleric
- Fofin - Fighter
- Blake - Magus
- Gorhan - Summoner
- Nicat - Rogue

- White - Ranger
- Urlich - Barbarian
- Petsha - Rogue

Doh! Looks like I was a little bit too slow getting my character in! Maybe I'll tag along the discussion boards - very interesting to see how the same AP turns out with 4 different parties.
Oh yeah! I love seeing how the different groups handle things! Never know slots might open up along the way. One of my PFS games we had to get a replacement before starting Part 2.
