Throne of Night is going to be an Underdark Sandbox but it's not from Paizo:

To answer your question -- yes, there will be strong 'hexcrawl' elements to Throne of Night, just underground.

Didn't realize this was going to be a kickstarter. Looks awesome!
Frog God Games also puts out a series of adventures called "Hex Crawl Chronicles" available on the Paizo store or their website. Each one covers a different area, presenting a hex map and a description of what's in the various hexes.

Imagine my disappointment when I learned none of those hexmaps link up together. I'd assumed an ever-growing outward expansion of exploration.
Kind of like 'Points of Light'. Good isolated hexmaps, but they don't connect at all so you can't move from one to the other or get an idea of the larger stage.
