Can I get a sanity check on this?

Advice

Okay I have a level 6 cohort fighter of the corsair archtype.
He uses a greatsword, doing 2d6 + 7 (as he is always two handing it, to gain the half over strength bonus).
He recently gained great cleave and lunge. (and due to the corsair archtype takes no negatives to AC when cleaving or great cleaving)

That being said,
If he consumes a potion of enlarge person (+2 str, becomes "large" including weapon (making his damage now 3d6 base), -2 dex, gains reach to 10 feet)
Then consumes a potion of lead blades (damage now becomes 3d8)
Does this mean, as a standard action, he can make a great cleave attack out to 15 feet, dealing 3d8+8 damage to everything as long as he continues to hit?

I mean, this is my cohort, and man, it just sounds..... awesome, but does it sound correct?

limited by the continuous adjacency of successive targets, yes.

You can't create a potion of Lead Blades because the range is personal. Other than that, yeah, I think it works as you say: 15' reach and keep attacking as long as you hit, threaten both people, and the person you attack is adjacent to the person you just hit (and you haven't already attacked them.)

I think Lunge works with Cleave, since Lunge doesn't say it modifies the attack action the way Vital Strike does.

(Note that lunge won't increase your reach on AoOs. Just attacks made on your turn.)

Assuming your damage calculations are correct, yes, it looks correct.

Keep in mind each target you hit must be adjacent to the previous foe.

You may want to check with your GM to make sure the effect of lead blades ("as if one size category larger") is not considered a magical effect that increases size (and thus wouldn't stack with enlarge person).

You'll also want to double-check how your dice will scale, as Table: Tiny and Large Weapon Damage doesn't have a listed increase after 3d6.

Natural Attacks by Size and Improved Natural Attack lists the size progression as 2d6, 2d8, 4d6.

edit: Akerlof is correct about the potion of lead blades. Creating Potions: "Spells with a range of personal cannot be made into potions."

Scarab Sages

Your damage mod also looks off.

If your strength bonus is +5, giving you +7 when 2-handing, your bonus after drinking an enlarge potion will be +6, increasing to +9 while 2-handing your sword.

Size increase table I was using was here on the d20pfsrd

Good find on the lead blades potion however!

He has a normal strength of 18 so a +4 mod.

Normal two handing he's getting +6.
His +1 magic weapon adds to a +7
Enlarge person will be a +2 , making the modifier +5
half over again is still 2
making the damage +8.

(or so I think)

Hmm, Lead Blades may be out, but Strong Jaw, however, can legally be made into a potion (or wand), and gives double the effect of lead blades, but for natural attacks.

Combined with a large or huge eidolon with slam and reach and evolutions and feats for improved damage, it can get pretty obscene. The cleave chain is a bit pricey for an eidolon, though. Might be better off going with Combat Reflexes and long reach.

Or an alchemist using Feral Mutagen and the Alchemical Allocation extract that lets him use potions without actually expending them...
