Help with cleric character creation

Advice

Hello ! if possible can you suggest me feats and things to do with a cleric of desna ? we will start lvl 1 and i have never played a cleric before. I would want to focus more on a support role rather than damaging.
For example, is picking heavy armor a good option ?

If you also know , is there any ''in-game'' to tell the fortune ? something like a skill or harrow decks.

Thanks in advance

Clerics have access to the augury spell, which may be what you have in mind. I remember that spell states it used bones or sticks to tell if an action is good or bad.

It is a level 2 spell...

An interesting route that I have seen for a cleric of desna is taking chaos and travel for the domains. As long as you GM gives you the OK, the travel domain's teleportation ability works nice with the dimensional agility feat tree, and the chaos domain not only works well flavor wise, but gives you access to animate object, which is pretty nifty using the ultimate magic stuff. Not really an optimized route, but fun.

Yeah, the Travel domain is pretty much a gimme. Luck is also a good domain for support, for the Bit of Luck domain power.

And as Secane said, you can cast augury as a 2nd level spell, and divination as a 4th level spell, but each has a chance of failing.

If you don't plan on doing much attacking yourself, I wouldn't worry about heavy armor. You probably won't have the Strength to lug it around anyway. Medium armor and a shield will keep your AC scaling nicely, especially if you throw a few points into Dex.

Just a note, clerics don't get heavy armor in PF. They do get medium armor.

If you're going for a support role, the evangelist archetype might fit you pretty well. You'd only get one domain, but you could have a lot of fun praising desna. You won't be as good a healer though, since you can't spontaneously cast cure spells. But the spells you can spontaneously convert are generally control type spells that could be useful for a support character.
