Andjela Daywalker |
My wife had to fly out of town on family emergency... left with kiddos again, hardly time to breath. Sorry, folks.
Andjela Daywalker |
Thank you... Dunsany. Quinn, I got your number!
She's back, kids are happy... I'm good!
GM Mug |
Hey all! Work has really kicked me in the kibblits last week, and this week will likely be no different.
Plus someone thought it'd be a good idea to start my MBA program... which has started so I'm doing some fast tap dancing. I'll get back in here as soon as possible.
Thanks for (hopefully) being patient!
Tolvan |
I sure would be nice to finish this battle and this part of the book before we delay much longer. It seems like we are one battle away from a good break point.
Anna Dunsany |
Naah, keep the breaks in a cliffhanger. Makes it more likely for everyone to stick around. I know I'm on the edge of my seat with this game. A week is a long time to hold your breath!
Kimberly Snow |
Mug...come back I miss you
Anna Dunsany |
Yikes. Sorry to hear that, Mug. Hopefully it'll get better soon.
I agree with Tolvan. I also remember an old Dilbert comic where the pointy-haired boss said his goal was to keep the employees so exhausted that they don't have the energy to look for something better. Don't let that happen!
We'll be here.
GM Mug |
Yeah, I've been doing just that Tolvan. I wanted to quit almost immediately when they told me, cause I feel like I've been working hard. But I decided I don't want to go out like that, disgruntled cause they didn't like me type thing. Plus they're paying for my school.
So I'm going to completely rock it at work till they understand what they'll be losing, then quit! (after finding a new job of course). :)
Anna Dunsany |
Well, good luck and all that, but I hope I don't sound too greedy when I say that I hope you are still able to find the time for a post or two to keep this game moving, even if it has to be at a snail's pace.
Kimberly Snow |
Just a keep alive post
Kimberly Snow |
since this is a "horror" type game
except they forgot
Alaska: 30 days of night
Hawaii: Lilo and Stich
Anna Dunsany |
Hope things are going well, Mug, and you've got a light at the end of the tunnel. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
And it's not just because I want to get back to the best pbp game on the boards. Honest!
Kimberly Snow |
Anna: yes it is...
seriously I too hope all is well.
of course it isn't the best PbP on these boards without Mug
Kimberly Snow |
still here
but close to looking for a new carrion crown game
Kimberly Snow |
looks like this is going to die...
please come back...
Anna Dunsany |
I have no intention of going anywhere. As long as I'm on these boards, I'll keep an eye out for this game's resurrection. But yeah, it's getting discouraging.
On the bright side, we got right back into it after our last hiatus. So I still have hope.
Tolvan |
I did talk to Mug a week back via email, asking him what his plan was. He reiterated he would be back.
Anna Dunsany |
Good to hear. Any ideas on what we should do to fill the time till he gets back?
Greatest hits in the game so far? Favorite quotes? Best battles?
Here's one of my favorite lines: during the conversation with the ghost -- "Tolvan might be smitten."
GM Mug |
Hello my fellow Paizoers,
I hope we didn't lose Kimberly, or anyone for that matter.
As Tolvan said, he'd reached out and had some good suggestions which I'm going to try to implement.
My baby boy is getting cuter and less useless each day. ;) I'm plugging along in my MBA program, which is harder and more time consuming than I'd hoped. The troubles at work have faded from urgent to a dull annoying hum, which I can cope with.
So instead of doing school I'm sneaking onto the boards for a short while to breath gently on the smoldering embers of this game, and we'll see what can be brought back to life.
Kimberly Snow |
still here
Tolvan |
That was very very cool. I gladly give you that as one of my highlights as well. You managed to add a lot of extra creepy to an already creepy mod. Cudos. :)
That half orc paladin in the mist was pretty darn good along the same lines.
Interesting that what stands out in my memory are the scenes that you developed and that could not have been canned and in the mod. So, keep doing that. :)
There are a couple memorable scenes with Anna too. :) This group makes me want to do a better job role playing.
Oh, and welcome back!
Kimberly Snow |
my favorite part so far is the part when Mug was able to come back...
Danica Quinn |
I'm still here, checking in on a daily basis for signs of life.
Ready to go here.
BTW......Welcome back Mug
Anna Dunsany |
Tolvan, those moments better be memorable... :)
Oh, yeah, the spirit board reading was fantastic.
Thanks for coming back.
Kimberly Snow |
definitely liked the spirit board reading as well.
I enjoy this entire game from the very beginning. I received comments from others how this was a great group. I would love to see this to the end.
I hope that Kim has been maturing as we go along.
I appreciate input in that to help me with that.
Tolvan |
Kimberly, you are first in the initiative order I think. I'll post my round 2 actions after I see what you do and after I re-read about a hundred posts. :)
Anna Dunsany |
Is Andjela still around? Haven't heard from her in a while...
Tolvan |
Yesterday I went and looked for Andjela' activity and saw she had posted the day before in a game. I PMed her letter her know we were active again and to come home.
Kimberly Snow |
hello
Tolvan |
I wanted to give a heads up that I'll be traveling from Wednesday through Sunday (going to Gen Con) and my posting will be limited. I'll still try to check this game at least once a day, but will likely be posting from a phone when I do post.
Kimberly Snow |
bump?
