I keep waking up. Even the medicine isn't keeping me asleep. I'm trying really hard not to keep Henry awake.
I woke up at 3 something, went to bathroom, and took a while to go back to sleep. Woke up again after 5, went to bathroom, and haven't been able to go back to sleep.
I don't know how coherent I'll be later, so Henry can give you guys an update later or something, and let you know how I'm doing.

Okay okay, I'm here and checked in. I'm gonna color till they call me back.
So, other than a little tenderness at the site of the injections, I'm okay. So, it was a nerve block they were doing, and while in the pre-op they took my blood pressure which was like 177/103....but, that was a combination of pain, not sleeping well the night before, and anxiety. So, they asked if I wanted IV or gas for my anesthesia and I chose IV since I didn't know I had to choose. Anyways, I was getting really nervous waiting, especially when one woman they brought back from the OR was being really loud about how sore she was. After that they wheeled me back really fast, and when I got back there and saw that my nurse Kayla wasn't back there, after promising me that she would be in there with me, I looked at one of the nurses and asked if she was there, and she told me that she had to call in that day....I just fell apart. They got the full on trembling lips as I said a little quietly, "But...but she promised she would be here." Then after they got me to move over on the other table...I tried not to, but I started crying, and the one nurse that told me Kayla had called in had me lay my face in this soft squishy thing and told me to take some deep breaths. The last thing I remember is her telling me to be careful not to roll of the table, and hearing her tell the other nurse, "Get the Dr in here NOW." The next thing I remember is being back in the recovery room and the nurse bringing in Henry to help me.
I'm not having pain like I was before, but I ran my foot into the damn dining room chair again. *shrugs*
Sorry it was a rough day, hope the relief continues to be a substantial improvement.
Me too. I just have to let them know how long it lasts.
I just don't understand why they want to do it again so soon.
I'm just gonna have to try and reach them this week sometime.
Henry's mom came and stayed with me till about 4. The discharge paperwork said that I couldn't be left alone for 24 hours after IV anesthesia, so since they gave me both, it was probably a good thing that she stayed with me.
I'm so sorry. I don't know what happened, but I didn't see any of the posts until just a little bit ago, so I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow to respond to the rest of it.
Okay. I'm dealing with a massive outage, so may be a while posting over the course of the night.
Yeah, I took my medicine and am getting sleepy now, so I won't be able to say much till tomorrow.

Okay, the registration for his car was under 20 bucks, so we're gonna go grab something to eat, and then do thed grocery shopping so we can reduce how much we need to go out this weekend.
Just got home a little bit ago. Feet and legs are killing me, my back is screamijng a little bit too. I just feel like I've been on my feet ALL day long, and I gotta work tomorrow too. At least that's only for 3 hours though.
Okay, heat and me really do not mix right now with this pain patch on.
Wading through the pre-surgery packet, insurance papers, FMLA such fun.
Was just out too much today in the heat and humidity, and my body got a little too warm, which causes the pain patch to put out more medicine...so, I'm not feeling too good...but, I think we got home and started getting me cooled off before it got too bad, but I still feel icky. Lots of water for sure.
I remember what all that was like and what a pain it was. I'm sorry you're having to deal with that stuff at all, but I'm glad they're finally doing something.
I don't think I should haved been stacking boxes of coin in the vault, or lifting those bags of coin this week...
Between that stuff and the weather....my body seems to be kinda angry at me right now.
I don't know what is wrong with me. I'm just having the hardest time getting comfortable

I think either Henry's mom is really stupid, or just trying to kill me.
She called this afternoon saying that she had bought Tamales, which is one of my greatest weaknesses. So, we went over there after saying that we wouldn't go out today because of how hot it's been and how badly I react to it.
When his mom was here with me last Tuesday after my procedure, she was trying to tell me that I needed to drink a little bit of wine everyday, even after I tried explaining to her SEVERAL TIMES that I can't have alcohol while I'm on all this medication and wearing this pain patch.
So today when we go over there, she's trying to MAKE me drink some of her Gawd Awful wine that she bought from the store for like 5 bucks.
First of all, it's a Semi Sweet Red table wine made here in Arkansas, so it already doesn't have a strong start....but the point is, she wouldn't take no for answer until I took a few sips of it. She even made Henry try some even after he tried telling her he doesn't drink.
The woman is freaking crazy, and is constantly trying to get me to take other medication when I specifically told her that I can't. She used to be an LPN, she should know better...but she's been crazy a lot longer than she was a nurse so I guess some things don't get better with age.
I don't know....I just didn't have enough sleep to deal with that woman and now I'm hurting and feeling like crap. Damn Tamale weakness.
*nods* Yeah...even though they didn't have as much meat in them this time as they usually do. Everyone makes them differently and she bought them from some ladies selling them at her church for a school fundraiser or something like that.

Henry said he found some recipes for Tamales using the Instant Pot, so maybe when we have some time to experiment he can try making some.
Still having some pretty potent muscles spasms, but I took the muscle relaxer with the nerve medicine tonight, so maybe it'll help.
I'll just try to be more careful after the next procedure and see if the relief lasts a little longer next time.
The doctor said when I saw him on July 22nd that this was just part of the "diagnostic process"....but I just don't really understand what that means. Does that mean that after this next time they'll have at least some kind of thought as to what's causing the problem cuz so far he hasn't communicated things to me very well....but he's the only one that's been able to reduce the pain for even a little while....so, I guess I just have to wait and see.
And don't forget that just because you're in less pain you shouldn't go all Hercules, lifting crap.
*looks down* I know, I know...I'm sorry.
Not as sorry as this dog is gonna be though if she doesn't stop pissing all over the pillows on my couch and everywhere else.
I'm truly sorry for whatever they did to her....but I don't understand why she'll use the puppy pads one day, and then just piss all over the place the next.
It makes no sense to me and it's really frustrating.

I know exactly how you feel, but that is not our call to make, and there is a whole town of innocent people to think about.
I better be able to go back to sleep, or I'm gonna dump that damn dog off in the woods.

I'm so tired. Between the dog waking us up several times and that leg cramp this morning...I'm exhausted. Gonna try to get some sleep tonight. I really really need the dog to cooperate....at least a little bit.
Starting in a little while, I'll be on little mini vacation with the family, so may not post until Sunday.
