My Chiropractor appointment is today. I'm leaving work at 4:30 to get there in time. I've never been to a chiropractor before, so I'm feeling a little nervous....but I'm tired of hurting, so I hope he can help.

Hey everyone, um, I just got a call from my Mom and......... my Dad's gone. Passed away in his sleep. So I uh......might be dark the next couple days. Kind of in shock right now.

Well...the Chiropractor wasn't too bad. Lots of things out of alignment and after my exam he's pretty sure it's a spinal/nerve issue because of the way I reacted to him moving certain things.

I got e-stem and heat, then he used an actuator to try and put things back in place cuz I done messed up my crap. He had to manually realign one part of my neck....but that was the only part of me that he actually cracked.

He didn't think my nerves could take him doing it to the rest of my body. He believes the problem areas are in the lower part of my spine, and the part between my shoulder blades.

I have to stay up a while longer because I'm making stuffed shells for work tomorrow. We're having a potluck at the branch that I'm at for the 4th.

He still wants me to see the spinal/pain doctor and said that if he doesn't order a spinal MRI, that he will. I guess he wants to check and see if the spacing between my disks has gotten smaller since I have that degenerative disk disease or whatever.

I see him again on Tues. He said after about 2 or 3 more treatments we should know if it's going to help or not.

Waiting for the shells to cool so I can put them in the fridge, then I'm gonna pass the hell out, I hope.

Well, my stuffed shells were a raving success. Z liked them so much, that she asked if I had more at home, could she take the leftovers to her house so that they could have it for tonight and tomorrow. I said, sure...I have another whole pan at the house. LOL

Those are a lot of work though, so I'm not making them all the time.

It's not even dark yet,and we're already seeing acts of great stupidity and multiple car accidents.

Thankfully there was no one else at the Arboretum, so it was a quiet walk.

Then we went to game exchange to get a few movies and use his store credit. We got Aquaman, Wreck it Ralph Breaks the Internet, and Wrath of the Titans.

Had to get a birthday bag for his mom to put her gift into. Her birthday is on the 8th, and we're seeing her Sunday.

Then we stopped by TCBY for mountain blackberry froyo for Henry, and watermelon sorbet for me.

Then Kroger for bread, and now we're home. Before all the major BS starts.

It's actually not as bad this year as it was last year, and Dixie doesn't really seem bothered by it all that much.

I really can't tell the difference. That's how I accidentally went outside one late at night 4th of July after a shoot out and saw a dead body.

Didn't have my glasses on at the sliding glass door, and just saw someone lying on the ground. I just thought they were passed out from drinking too much or something.

I was woken up in the middle of the night by it, and thought it was just stupid kids shooting off fireworks at 1 or 2 am....I forget what it was. This was a few years ago I think.

That was the year we had quite a few shootings here at the apartments. That same year a 17 year old was lured out of his apartment and gunned down in broad daylight right in front of it, like two or three buildings down from us.

I'm ready to live away from people now.

Dinner was good, not too heavy. Two bbq chicken legs and two pieces of corn on the cob. I pick good corn.

Don't eat it too much cuz there's really not much nutritional value in it, but it's really yummy. :o)

I'm still just a little hungry, but I probably just gonna have some tortilla chips with nacho cheese. I like the plain stadium style yellow nacho cheese.

I think a lot of people were either too hung over to come out, or thought we were closed cuz other than some of our regular customers, it was dead today.

I think I did a grand total of like 28 transactions....maybe.

Henry gotta work tomorrow, but I don't. I have to clean out the winter clothes from my closet, put gas in my vehicle and get the oil changed. Then I have to wrap up his mom's gift since her birthday is on Monday and we're seeing her on Sunday.

I got Mirai and Kong Skull Island to watch, and I have the Wrath of the Titans...so it's not gonna be a boring weekend. :o)

Gotta find time in there somewhere to do a little walking to. Oh, I have to put Dixie's flea/tick/mosquito treatment on her as well.
