Although gifts are a nice gesture, something more personal can go a lot further. With so many VCs and VLs on the boards now, a little public acknowledgement goes a long way. Recognize your Venture Officers by name, and identify how they made the convention a great experience.
- This sets them apart from the rank-and-file.
- It gets the boss's attention. There's a reward system in place for folks who go above-and-beyond. Self-promotion can be awkward for some.
- It is very motivational and counters burn-out.
- It helps the VO's identify how to make conventions special for future attendees.
- It inspires the VO's peers to brush up their own game.
So let us know who these guys are, and give them the public praise they deserve :)

Like Mike said the greatest gift is probably letting them play.
Become a Store liaison.
If you're not the GMing type:
Gift Cards are always nice and help covers some of the cost of running events. Probably the best would be:
Paizo
Amazon
Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, ect. (Printing all those chronicles and boons can get pricey)
Next time the the Guide gets updated print it out for them and get it bound, with their Lodge info on the cover, at one of the stores above.
Also putting up a thread that says what a great job they did is always awesome. Plus to add to Doug's list its great advertising for future events they run.

Good enough.
Venture Captain is Kelly Youngblood of Houston. He ran three days of PFS gaming at Owlcon without any major hiccups (no problems = lots of work!) and bent over backwards to make sure everyone got into the games they wanted. Lots of happy players, me included! A well run con is a fine thing to see.
Venture Lieutenant is Marc Vanderbrink of Houston. Along with assisting Kelly, I think he GMed every slot and absolutely persecuted my older son's character for (I think) three of them. I realized just how insightfully genius that was when I noticed how big my son's grin was as he recounted how many times over he technically should have died. Major kudos for personalizing his gaming experience.

Not sure what a store liaison is but it sounds like work. Ditto for printing stuff out for them. :) GMing for Venture Officers sounds like a good way to show exactly how little you belong in that chair.
I got them $50 Paizo gift certs. They can liaison for themselves. ;)

Make sure you get the right brand of hootch. :D
(I like Maker's mark. :D )
Thomas, let me formally extend to you, on behalf of the Pathfinders Society of Lexington, an invitation to come game with us in central Kentucky, where we can broaden your bourbon horizons beyond that sweet mainstream stuff! ;)

But that's apples and oranges.

Eh, the finest whiskeys in the world are the finest whiskeys in the world, year by year. Some years its a single malt, some years (more recently than single malts) its a bourbon, and recently even the odd rye has sneaked in there.
I know I don't have the taste buds for the 'good stuff' yet. Just like no sangria or brandy tastes right after 2 years in south Spain. (I miss the stuff from there.. a bottle of brandy that cost only 10 euros there can cost a LOT here.. assuming you can find it.)
