Last scenario before level 11

The Exchange

I have a Half-Orc Paladin of Iomedae who I want to give a big hurrah to in his final game of 1-11 play.

Are there any recommendations for particularly epic scenarios with good doses of role play, combat and general tomfoolery?

Thank you members of the Pathfinder Society in advance.

I am assuming, from your post, that the title of the thread should be "Last Scenario Before Level 12" rather than level 11...

If I am correct, I am assuming your PC has 11.2 XP, so you don't want to do any multipart series.

Also, since you must have done some 7-11 scenarios already, you may see recommendations for some you have already played...

Given the provisos above:

Either of the extent Specials, if you can find enough people and GMs interested to run them legally:

2-Sp - Year of the Shadow Lodge - I think it has a 3 table minimum.

3-Sp - Blood Under Absolom - I believe it has a 5 table minimum.

40 - Hall of Drunken Heroes can be a fun romp, but, then again, I played it with my character whose deity is Cayden Cailean...

2-04 - Shadows Fall on Absolom - 2am, Drandle Dreng, a secret mission, need I say more?

2-08 - The Sarkorian Prophecy - A mission to recover the remains of some prophecies in the World Wound. What fun!

3-17 - Red Harvest - requires a good GM to fully realize the potential. Note that this will be challenging for a Paladin to deal with.

I have played, and I think I enjoyed, some other 7-11s, but they were at conventions, so a bit jumbled in my memory.

I am also sure that, with a knowledgeable GM, 2-26 - The Mantis's Prey should be a good scenario. Unfortunately, due to issues with the GM at the time, our party had a TPK. The potential is there. The background is there. The GM, unfortunately, was not there.

In reference to above, you need to have a GM at this tier who has some rules knowledge and some experience with playing or running for PCs at this level. The abilities start to get overwhelming, and one NPC can have a lot going on.

And, if the title is correct, and you have 4 XP before playing the retirement arc, you might consider playing in The Ruby Phoenix Tournament. Some dangerous, depending on the party, lots of RP potential, plenty of combat opportunities, and plenty of range for tomfooleries.

Our local group played The Ruby Phoenix Tournament once all of us were level 11, to get to level 12. Since it's worth 3 XP, it didn't matter that we didn't all have exactly the same amount of XP going into it, since it got us all to level 12 in preparation for the retirement arc.

Whoops! I did mean to say level 12.

He is currently 11.2.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

Fromper, remember that anyone starting the retirement arc, except on slow track, must be at 33 XP exactly.

I thought that it didn't matter how many XP you had, because everyone loses anything over 33. They don't have to be 33 exactly, they would all reset to 33?

a character with 34 or 35 xp resets to 33 only when they want to start the Eyes of the Ten series. They do have the option of skipping it, and continue leveling with special events and modules as normal.
