Light: Particle vs Wave vs String?

Off-Topic Discussions

The Exchange

I came up with an Idea.

Light from String Theory:

Light is neither Particle or Wave. String Theory is going to nail that coffin shut.

E=m.c.c (c being the speed of light and c^2 being the square of the speed of light)

So where x/y(y>x) =0 r x, c/c^2=0 r c
10 x c/c^2=0 r 10c

so (c x n)/c2=0 r (c x n) so basically (c x n)<c^2 until n=c.

e=mc^2 so e/m=c^2 so (c x n)/ (e/m) = 0 until (c x n)>=e/m

So the source of light is a loop (a string) which produces a zero value output until the speed of light reaches its own square while divided (interacted with) by a ratio of energy and mass of equal or less value.

Thoughts?

Genius? God? Crazy....mumblemumblemumble...don't want to be rude? When does this get me my light saber?

Don't we need a particle accelerator the size of the milky way to actually test the string hypothesis?

What if the universe is foamy? IE, it only exists in parts of everywhere, not everywhere: so a "strait" line at the planck level has to look like this ^^^^^^^ because there is nothing straighter.

Wouldn't know...working on where to keep the light saber.

Is that why cats chase laser beams?

A particle the size of the Milky way would make an excellent weapon...

So you are suggesting that we do not live on squares themselves but on intersections of the grid? Could our world be represented better by go rules instead of d20?

We're at Plank Level here. No cheezburger.

Only... wobbly things.

Plankburger? Or cheeseplank?

Plankburger has a nice ring to it.

Get them with a side of Heisenfries. So good you won't be able to determine when you ate them.

Wibbly wobbly timey wimey

I think we should go by observable phenomena as the basis for a unified model... I propose we use cheese: solid, melted, creamy, crumbly, string, and spray.

I just hate it when those Higgs bozos crash your party.

Higgs field is just strings anyway...
