How to draw 'aggro'

3.5/d20/OGL

Is there a spell or enhancement or feat anywhere in d20 that draws the attention of monsters onto a specific person? We play 3.75, so Pathfinder stuff can work as well.

Thanks in advance,
Johnny D.

Antagonize is the first thing that comes to mind for Pathfinder.

Liberty's Edge

From the Players Handbook II, the Knight class has the Knight's Challenge class feature that at 4th level gets the Test of Mettle option:

Players Handbook II page 26 wrote:

As a swift action, you can expend one use of your knight’s challenge ability to cause all your enemies within 100 feet with a CR greater than or equal to your character level minus 2 to make Will saves (DC 10 + 1/2 your class level + your Cha modifier). Creatures that fail this save are forced to attack you with their ranged or melee attacks in preference over other available targets. [...]

The effect of a test of mettle lasts for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Charisma bonus (if any).

Shadow Lodge

Is there a 3.75 that isn't Pathfinder?

Yeah, that confused me too :)

Antagonize is very nice; my group found Goad (Complete Adventurer, p. 109). It is reprinted in several places.

To clarify the "3.75" thing: I am posting on the 3.5/d20/OGL threads but wanted to clarify that Pathfinder stuff was appropriate to recommend. I didn’t want to double post or start threadpooping around the boards. The input from you guys is very important to me and helps me run my game better.

Is there a catch-all board where I can post for sources that cover all of d20 and Pathfinder both? That would work out very well.

Thanks for these suggestions,
Johnny D.

In Pathfinder, the best answer is probably proper tactics but class can be important too. Any class with a challenge ability will be helpful. The biggest problem is being able to draw multiple opponents. Feats like Antagonize only pull a single enemy

Meant to add, I am currrently playing a character that has the same issue. I plan on working with the GM to allow me to combine Dazzling Display (which intimidates multiple enemies) and Antagonize.
