It is that time of year to start getting ready for the San Antonio TexasConvention ChimaeraCon 2013 – April 5 – 7.
I am adding a lot more tables this year so I am going to need a lot more GMs to make this year another success! Just like last year if you GM 2 games you get in for free. What were the canned food discounts again?
"San Antonio Food Banks list of top twelve needed items are: Peanut Butter, Cereal, Tuna, Beans, Rice, Macaroni and Cheese, Chili, Canned Stew, Canned Soup, Canned Luncheon Meat, Full Meals in a Can or Box, and Pop Top Food Items. Great job at wrangling the chaos this weekend, Dragnmoon.
Actually it went kind of smooth, I was very happy with the participation and interest we had in PFS at ChimaeraCon this year.
Though I am starting to worry that we are reaching a point that PFS will out grow what this small Convention can handle.
I am going to ask for more tables next year, I hope they can handle them. Initial talks say they think they can.
Our next goal is a one time event for San Antonio, WorldCon (Locally called LonStarCon), Which is a Much larger convention but not geared towards Gaming.
A Local Organizer for the convention approached me during ChimaeraCon and asked if we could set up PFS there.
Myself and the Local VLs will look into planning it shortly.
